Not really a matter of them showing up. It's a matter of them staying.

    ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

@pmvines I was SO going to comment THIS ^^^
    ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘. Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿซ‚

As an Enthusiast, I choose to stick around CC because I want to be here. And I appreciate that this site exists and appreciate what the site is here to accomplish: Cuddling, whether by paying or not paying!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿซ‚

    Lol! ๐Ÿ˜†
And due to being active off and on (very much OFF of them now ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜Œ) dating sites throughout MY years of "internetting" I am very much aware and immune to the creepy weirdo brigade these days.๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜œ
I actually very much expect them now, just to f๐Ÿคฌk with them because that's what the creepy weirdo brigade deserves from Me.๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜†

With that being said, as the creepy weirdo brigade will ALWAYS exist particularly in the internet world...

All hail the creepy weirdo committee

    ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

  • There's nothing that screams "I didn't read a single word on your profile" more than some message like "You're so beautiful".

    ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

@KuddlyKoala Lol! Received a lot those in your inbox too, have you?๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜œ

    Same here. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜†

  • As one of my friends once said, they are treated like a loose football, everyone dives at once.

    ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘

    @WriterGF

"WOMAN ALERT! SHE'S MINE! I SAW HER FIRST!"
    ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

  • This forum needs a rabbi to pray over it or perhaps an exorcism at this point๐Ÿต

@CharlesGrove if you don't like the discussion then why further the discussion? How is that helpful? If you notice that was one sentence in my post and it was just pointing out what derails the important part of what i was trying to discuss. But thank you for being the first to diverge from my point. Preciate it

  • Well team maybe there is nothing we can do to make the site more inviting.....let's back to singing the familiar song.

  • Let's not try to further the discussion guys he let's do this!

  • [Deleted User]CharlesGrove (deleted user)

    @ReltvlyCanshes

    Which one point?

That capitalism exists, exploits, oppresses, and pollutes, but because it appeals to the worst parts of humanity (fear, avarice, apathy, selfishness, etcโ€ฆ) we canโ€™t seem to shake it?

Or that women should FINALLY โ€œfigure outโ€ that they โ€œoweโ€ men their time and attention and affection because of โ€œreasonsโ€.

Because, being honest, these are not new โ€œpointsโ€, and NO ONE OWES ANYONE ANYTHING.

If you want the attention of others you have to make the effort to capture it, and be worthy of it.

And the shortcuts make it less satisfying.

    Or outright unpleasant.

  • Hmmm, let me go back and read what i said, I'm pretty sure i didn't say any of that. While I'm at it I'll go back and reread the OP because i don't remember that part in there either. But thanks for keeping us on task this today, good morning.

@CharlesGrove i went back, yeah in all those words and sentences that i wrote and the question i was asked to discuss..... none of that really fits. So I'm not sure how to make what you said answer the original question. Lets brainstorm a bit.

  • I didnโ€™t join the site with the intention of becoming a pro cuddle. I just saw it as an opportunity to connect with others in a way that felt meaningful, fun and enjoyable, more of a casual, enthusiast-approach. However, as I spent more time on the platform, I noticed my inbox was filled and . I began to notice a trend in the types of people reaching out to me. Many of them were folks I just wouldnโ€™t typically engage with intimately on the apps or in my personal life. Which in hindsight isnโ€™t a necessity. There are some male enthusiasts on CC who are closer to my age , conventionally attractive, photogenic and uber charismatic. But thatโ€™s not every single user and thatโ€™s okay. I didnโ€™t come across a ton of men in my inbox who fit the vibes I was looking for as an enthusiast but I did meet some great people: mostly older and experienced guys who seemed like interesting conversationalists.

It became clear that the kind of people Iโ€™d naturally gravitate toward for cuddling as an enthusiast were few and far between on this site. That said, I started to reconsider my approach. If the experience could be reframed as a pro service and my time was being fairly compensated, I realized Iโ€™d be open to expanding my boundaries in this context. After all, professionalism and compensation create a different dynamic, one that allows me to engage with a wider variety of people without the same personal filters Iโ€™d apply in other situations.

Just as male enthusiasts often prioritize physical attraction when selecting a cuddler to approach, many female enthusiasts consider desirability as well. However, there appears to be an imbalance, with a noticeable presence of male enthusiasts who skew a bit older or some who may struggle with social dynamics and hygiene. Hence why this site might have a harder time retaining female enthusiasts.

  • @brownglucose i think that is a perspective i hadn't heard before, but it is a benefit having people of diverse backgrounds and generations interacting. I think i also end up engaging with people i otherwise wouldn't outside of the site. I do t know that my actual cuddles have been a different mix of people I'd engage with but all but one were people i wouldn't approach spontaneously in the world.

  • @brownglucose i think the reason for that maybe that pretty people just don't lack as often. As we get older our options get slimmer so that also leads more older people to this idea. I do think that social dynamics is a skill that many men don't have, i think often confidence disguises that.

But in other words when i was young and pretty i had my hands full, i literally did not have time to consider something like this. But younger people tend to be more interactive online so it's common for them to easily engage in something like this.

I know this isn't a dating site, but my example is more to my engagement. I have never been in a date through any of these sites. I knew about BP, looked at MySpace but i did use yahoo and aol chat. So the interactive online skills are just different. I suspect the generational differences are at play here as well.

  • @ReltvlyCanshes I agree and I quite enjoy the multigenerational aspect of CC, no age shaming over here. Just pointing out that some enthusiast women are less open to the age gap dynamics here. Some of My favorite cuddlers are a few decades my senior and Iโ€™m super grateful for their company.

  • I get it. Maybe that's one of the things that should be highlighted to get more enthusiasm about the site. Broadening exposure.

  • As an enthusiast, I would like a tiara and magic wand. And a slushie maker. Thank you for asking, Dennis! ๐Ÿ˜†
What can the site do to KEEP a female non Pro here? I chatted with a lovely Pro yesterday, and we lightly touched on this topic.

    A. Admin needs to stop allowing/encouraging the modification of non platonic accounts by mods in order to keep the bad apples in compliance, like removing lingerie/bra only photos, GFE is specifically stated, fetishes, etc.
They KNOW these rotten apples are here for non platonic purposes, but they shine them up (delete the non platonic/bannable stuff) and put them right back in the bin. (They don't always receive a warning, either. Banning is rare. As an off-site friend pointed out, "they know what's going on, they just don't want it advertised.")

    B. I think most people on these forums don't realize how targeted by the site female non pros truly are. My first few months, every time I messaged back, "I don't charge," a pop-up warning said if I wanted to charge, I had to apply to be a pro. Really??!! It's
    1. Antagonistic, but also
    2. Constant pressure to become a pro.
(The warning had to be removed by a mod.)

So THIS one word is what the site owner worries most about, CHARGE? Hundreds of keywords/phrases could be set up for pro and enthusiast safety, but CHARGE is The (Only) Chosen One? Yikes.

I'd also like a popcorn machine with real butter. ๐Ÿ˜†

  • A big different from what I hear women express openly on the forums and in person is that a major influence in them meeting an interwebs stranger to cuddle and spend time with is they want to feel safe, and they don't want to feel like they are doing all the emotional labor. So many men get stuck on their idea that women here only cuddle men who are attractive or because they have money. When the reality is that many men on here seek out women who they find attractive and also at same time aren't putting a ton of effort into making it known what they can do for the women emotionally and get to know them as humans first etc, and the women really are wanting to feel safe and feel like they aren't just a warm body filling a void. And then there is also of course the groping and other stuff that men typically will do a lot more of than the women. Manners and respect etc.

  • Good morning...belated thank you @rel..my point was id.entifying ways we can all work together to fix the problem..especially men...id like to see the site stick around a long time

  • @starrynitecuds on A. We agree wholeheartedly. I think that makes it unsafe for everyone.

@pmvines yeah there need to be some work put in to share a cuddle. I believe that the "getting to the point" practice some like really turns enthusiasts away when they are presented with it.

@dennis22554 and i agree and hope i was advancing that conversation.

How to Keep Female Enthusiasts on Cuddle Comfort

    1. Address Misogyny and Outdated Policies
Cultivate a culture that actively discourages misogyny and removes outdated, gender-policing rules. For example, the rules and restrictions on women's clothing are unnecessary and alienating. It's 2025โ€”posting bikini photos on Instagram is widely accepted and not seen as inherently inappropriate. Similarly, a woman posting a cute picture with cleavage or middrift showing doesnโ€™t equate to โ€œsoliciting for sexual attention." Women are allowed to be sexy on social media while simultaneously maintaining respectability. This website is not LinkedIn and I wish we didnโ€™t pretend it was when it comes to women posters. Policing women's attire or self-expression creates a judgy environment in an otherwise liberating space. It's also worth noting that solicitation often occurs regardless of how covered up a woman is so Policies should focus on protecting users from harassment and solicitation. not regulating their self-expression.

    2. Female-Friendly UX Design
The website needs a modern, user-friendly overhaul. A cleaner, more attractive interface with features like GIF integration and custom emojis would make the platform more engaging and fun to use. A fresh design could help women feel more comfortable and excited to participate.social media integration would also be lovely.

    3. women-Only Forums
Introduce a non-pro, femme-only forum where women and femmes can connect, share experiences, and create threads without fear of unwanted attention. These spaces could act as supportive, safe environments for open discussions. I donโ€™t see nearly enough women posting pics of cute crafts or ootds or food pics.

    4. Regional Subcommunities
Create localized subcommunities to help users connect with others in their area. These smaller, region-based groups can foster a sense of belonging and make interactions feel more personal and secure. And would allow for female enthusiasts to connect with other enthusiasts w karma.

    5. Improving user safety
CC should hire or partner w a third party verification system to add a payed verification service. This will encourage users to consider verifying that a cuddler is who they say they are. Or even create a barrier of entry for violent sex pests.

  • With a very few eceptions..I've enjoyed reading the posts..I truly hope this post inspires a new more respectful welcoming beginning
....very troubled to learn that enthusiast are pressured to become pros

  • @brownglucose i do agree with your first point, if the attitudes change around this and language discussing it would help move it forward. But unfortunately these are long trusted ideals that will be difficult to overcome.

I really hate to say this, because it would definitely give me pause for various reasons. But i think the anonymity involved here is an issue. I do understand and value my privacy and how i protect my information but the anonymity emboldens bad behavior. I'm not suggesting everyone have ther real name and photo in the profile but if it was houses and protected someplace within the site it would give creeps a little something to think about before they did something weird. It's not enough that the person your cuddling knows there has to be something over arching to be waiting in the wings if necessary. There are many examples of place we share this information without thinking because we trust that it's protected. I know it would slow growth and or participation but if we value what's here it's something i believe needs to be considered. It may just be payment information, something that can be an identification agent. It may be hard to solve that puzzle piece but it change things.

Know there are legal implications as well, i don't have the answer.

  • The answer is that we recognize there is a problem and keep working in earnest to fix it...throwing hands up an doing nothing

  • I truly feel if the site would require all members to present them with a legal ID and kept that on file it would: one, stop a lot of the โ€œcreepy weirdo committeeโ€ from acting like creepy weirdos because there would be some sort of accountability, 2 females would feel safer knowing the men have some sort of accountability.

  • You could have AI screen messages and give them a "creep factor" score / ranking, e g., "The following message has a low creep factor" or "The following message contains language that is moderately creepy, proceed at your own risk"

  • @starrynitecuds good points as always.

other than that every time this issue comes up, same comments, same responses just rehashing the obvious and what people do and shouldn't do but nothing that will actually make a difference.

So here is an idea that can actually work if the platform really wanted to clean up: Set up fake accounts. maybe 50 of them, multiple of them in major markets, and automatically ban every person who sent a non-platinic message to any such account.

  • @sage91436

The day the site requires that it will cease to exist.

  • @Sooson why do you say that? All the other cuddle sites have Iโ€™d verification integrated

  • edited December 2024

    @brownglucose
The other sites also typically only exist for the purpose of hiring cuddle pros. This site is unique in that many people are here for shits and giggles and if you find someone to cuddle that's just gravy. For those not interested in hiring cuddlers or are just here for the forums and socialization I can see if being off putting as well as an invasion of privacy for the site to require ID to create a user account. I can certainly appreciate measures taken to ensure safety, but at the same time I'm pretty big on personal liberties not being violated and privacy protection unless necessary.
