I'm wondering to move action fwd..would it be helpful to make a sister post to allow women to specifically identify examples of bad behavior they would like to stop..everyone should know what they are but .maybe they need a reminder...the list would call out 5 to 10 must offensive behavors,,serve as public notice
Seems fairly obvious to me why female enthusiasts don't stay (as an enthusiast) because 98% can make money doing the exact same activity as they were thinking about doing for free. Most women don't need a site to find a cuddle buddy. The site would crash over night if they removed the pro. The ratio by the way is far worse than the quotes from above once you understand that the majority of female enthusiasts are only waiting the probation period to become pros.
@dennis22554 that's quite divisive. Man bad, woman good isn't helpful.
Yeah Dennis that probably would t be helpful.we should be able t discuss things here. But also i dont think the issue is what men do to women, because men don't stay either. It's more of a question of the enviythat encourages certain behaviors and how can we change that. Because men don't behave certain ways in certain places just like women don't. So it's about changing the space not changing people. At least that's how i see it
@CuddyBuddy14 there's no waiting/probationary period to become a pro here. Some people sign up for the site, and immediately go to the pro application and are made pros within a few days.
Just a thought...no offense intended...also just wondering what steps .embers could take next to encourage real change
@dennis22554 i don’t feel that the owners exploit anyone. They created a website where men and women could cuddle and converse.
As far as mods are concerned they volunteer they are not gods sometimes they get it wrong
They should be paid as everyone else is for hard work
@dennis22554 the definition of a volunteer is a person who does something, especially helping other people, willingly and without being forced or paid to do it
Now lets get a bit practical here. Why would you pay for something as long as there are people willing to do it for free?
Because it's the right thing to do
He believes there is value in what they do, there is. People who add value should be paid accordingly, maybe it can't happen but he is allowed to believe that. We know what volunteer means we know they volunteer, it's just for the life of me i can't see why with everyone so I n love with free labor.
I thank everyone for the opportunity to express an opinion...hope everyone has a great Xmas ..stays safe and enjoys time with family
Moderating chats and social platforms attracts people for all sorts of reasons enough that they are willing to take on the chore for free. As long as that is the case, I don't expect the pay status of the mods here to change.
Again, I appreciate the moral views and the wishful thinkings, but you know me I'm the practical guy.
@Sooson but there really isn't much happening i. Here that's practical other than paying for cuddles. Everything else is a reach for more. Friendships, idea exchange, enthusiasts...these are all reaches for something more.
@ReltvlyCanshes Dont get me wrong. I would not mind at all them getting paid. just setting proper expectations as far as that happening is what i meant by being practical.
And while we are in a practical mood: Pros are not going away. Ever. If the site ever decides to "remove the pros", all that will change is that the site will no longer be collecting fees and commissions. If anyone needs that explained to them in more details, there is a $25.00 charge. not doing that for free on Christmas eve.
I don't Ty I'll anyone is suggesting pros go away. I know the OP said left enthusiasts i think he should have said everyone, be cause i think most of the people who sign up as pros split right away too. It's just gotta welcoming for everyone. We've seen men hang out awhile and get discouraged and seem to leave feeling defeated. The site isn't for the weak in any aspect.
i wasn't responding directly to you, I was following up on comments made by @CuddyBuddy14 and I believe few others as well, but regardless, i agree with your comments.
@brownglucose this isn’t linked in, but this also isn’t OnlyFans. I’m an exhibitionist who loves being naked, and I agree that just because a woman is wearing a bikini doesn’t mean it’s sexual. HOWEVER, we all know this site absolutely has sex workers on it and men who want to participate in it. I support sex workers, but the reason I’m on this site is because things are platonic. You don’t need to show your tittys, or lingerie here and it’s not for puritanical reasons.
To be honest, I don't know why there are any female enthusiasts. Why do something for free when you can be paid well for it?
lol so basically you can’t dress a certain way and be platonic because only fans? Okay makes sense. Accept we both know women are harassed regardless of what they have on in their profile pic. I dress like a gay librarian and that’s never stopped perverts from testing the waters.
Just my own take on this and of course many won’t agree…. The following has always made sense to me…. “Dress for the job you want “ or “Present yourself to get the results you desire” Some women here feel forced to look sexually appealing in order to compete for cuddles and get more attention from men. It’s common sense but I get it that some younger women want to show off their bodies to attract men. But other women who have been very successful here show they don’t need to use their body to be taken seriously. They have more to offer. Have some self respect!
@g_w_t_w I am glad that you point out that the some who do this often feel pressured to do so. I see a lot of slut shaming and judgment about how they dress on here at times, and it's important to acknowledge that it's often due to pressure to appeal to men which speaks more to a societal problem of the sexualization of women as opposed to necessarily wanting to present as a sex object.
@pmvines I just always wish that we all feel that our intelligence, emotional caring, nurturing, individual qualities, creativity and personalities could be what we’re most proud of about ourselves! Everyone has a body, what else do you have to offer? Women are valuable for way more than a body. That’s just demeaning.
I support sex workers, but the reason I’m on this site is because things are platonic. You don’t need to show your tittys, or lingerie here and it’s not for puritanical reasons.
👍👍👍👍
@NikkiFM I agree and support the existence of sex workers too, but not on a site that fully promotes itself as a PLATONIC ONLY platform.
You should show your titties where showing titties is allowed, period! It's NOT supposed to be allowed here, at least that is what I read ( and understood on CC home page) when I first joined here.☺️
@dennis22554 I SO appreciate the snot out of you for bringing this up! It's hard for me because I get overwhelmed with requests for last minute cuddle sessions that there's just no way I could possibly accommodate. This site will email me that I have a new message and I'll log in and have 14, the oldest being from a few WEEKS prior. I have a job and it's exhausting, so meeting with a stranger for the fist time at a moments notice (for safety reasons) just IS NOT going to happen. I've messaged with cuddlers for a few months before finding out their intentions were A LOT LESS than platonic. I don't know if males just don't realize how others are or if they just don't care, but we ALL have to be safe. I know it goes both ways, but women seem to be "called out" on it more. I'm not much of a talker. I'm open to listening but a therapist I am not and some have a genuine need for one. I can't solve anyone's problems for them. The expectations of a female cuddler are just REALLY high for some and it's extremely discouraging.
@great_pillow08 some men's expectations are different than yours because their experience since they've been on the site is diff than yours. It's good to be safe and make sure you have the right person to meet up with. Makes sure both interests align, it might take awhile but it seems people are finding what they are looking for eventually.
On the matter of how people dress, is it possible that people dress a certain way because they like how they look? I mean others like how they look maybe they like it too. Also remember being sexually appealing doesn't always come from how someone is dressed.
@rel..excellent point on dress code...dressing is another form of communication ..sometimes I think of as art...if cc is truly inclusive..maybe the reasons for why a person dresses the way they do should be judged s o harshly...understandably there should be some restrictions just like guidelines for platonic touch
The photos allowed here should reflect the site policies, which are NOT misogynistic. Not appropriate cuddle attire: Bikinis/bathing suits Speedos/swim bottoms/shirtless Only bra/panties/lingerie Only boxers/briefs/shirtless Cuddling isn't allowed in pools, hot tubs, showers, tubs, etc.
Misogynistic? I report a shirtless (or low-buttoned) guy taking a selfie in a mirror and the mods remove it quickly. 100%. Women in lacy bras, underwear and lingerie pics are at about 80%. I often have to re-report them after weeks because it got missed.
How people dress DOES affect their attitude, confidence and professionalism. There's a time and place. I wear risqué attire in the appropriate settings, but NOT to work. I represent not only myself, but my boss and his company.
It's interesting how the so many women here expect the site require IDs to protect them, but then don't
A wise woman once told me, "If you don't want guys treating you like a piece of meat, don't hang out your pork chops."
