Making CC more inviting for female enthusiasts

  • @CuddyBuddy14 - The thought to go "pro" hasn't EVER crossed my mind and I'd never do it because (and I'm probably about to be put in "time out" or even banned for saying this, but..) this takes no training, no skill, and would then become a chore instead of something enjoyable (where's the "value" in that??). I need cuddle buddies so I can shut my head off and genuinely JUST rest. Being paid comes with higher expectations and that'd defeat the purpose for me. I like silence- every once in a while, music is good, but when someone else's preference clashes with mine- that's a problem. There's freedom in NOT being a "pro" and I need that. Expectations and obligations aren't welcomed complications to "this" for me. I've been "around" for awhile and I'm not about to fix something that's not broken. To each their own, but THIS enthusiast ain't goin' "pro"!

  • we both know women are harassed regardless of what they have on in their profile pic

    😁👍

@brownglucose You're right and most of us DO KNOW THIS, but showing your titties (which I have seen and reported women's profile pics doing exactly that😏) on a PLATONIC CUDDLING SITE...Yeah, these type of women are offering more than platonic and more than just cuddling.😔🙄

    @great_pillow08 Thank you.

  • @ReltvlyCanshes Obviously dress to be comfortable, but ignoring that a certain way of dressing is going to "give ideas" isn't advantageous to the purpose of this site.

  • @great..you do a great job o f expressing yourself

  • @great_pillow08 those people have those ideas no matter what. But if they want that kind of attention let them have it.

  • I'm very late to this party but what pmvines and Sooson said. Verifying ID would really hurt CC and I don't want my privacy and personal liberties violated either.

@dennis22554 "They should be paid as everyone else is for hard work". Why is cuddling work for a woman and not for a man? The cuddlers I spend time with it equally enjoy the experience, as it should be. The reason women are paid and men are paying is purely due to microeconomic principles. Supply vs demand. And as I said before, why do something for free when you could be getting paid for it.

@btc13 Well, I think people generally assume that if they contact a pro, have the money, and don't send up red flags, they have a good chance at a cuddle because pros are in business to make money. And the site strongly recommends they not discriminate based on age, race, etc. (I am sure some do, but the guideline does exist). Enthusiasts, on the other hand, can be as picky as they want to be. And just as some men don't feel comfortable paying for a cuddle, I am sure there are women who wouldn't feel comfortable being paid for one.

There is actually quite a lot of prep work before a cuddle session for Pros especially if they host. And expense to provide a cozy cuddlle space. I always hosted so I’m speaking of my experience only. Some men might not recognize this but most do and voice their appreciation.
Pros tend to do all the pleasing and sometimes it’s emotionally exhausting, especially if they have multiple sessions in a week. I did it for 2 years. I started feeling emotional stressed and sometimes depressed after because it’s up the Pro to make everything perfect for the client. Pleasing men, occasionally dealing with the aggression and demands. A 1 hour session can take about 3-4 hours of a Pros time.
The experience between 2 Enthusiasts is often less stressful, more time is spent getting to know each. Being more selective also. Mutual cuddle attention.
Some of this is subtle and that’s a sign of a good pro if it is. I don’t think some people are aware of what goes into all that, unless they’ve been a Pro themselves.

You seriously just blocked me after sending me a message wishing me a happy holidays just earlier and after us chatting and being friends all this time because I dont agree with you

@pmvines It's okay friend, I will still be your friend and we can disagree to our heart's content.😄🫂♥️

For starters, I DISAGREE that COFFEE ☕ is "the elixir of the Gods"...So there!👎😝

    Come at me, Bro!🤣🤣🤣

  • I dont understand why women are so jealous of each other. If there were no men in this world, women would kill each other. Surprising to see some of women cuddlers to think other female cuddlers who show cleavage are non-platonic or are inviting. If you are insecure about yourself, highly recommend not to spy on others, will make matters worse.

  • Also I see again couple of pros complaining about low pay because they are female. I mean you must be kidding, pay is directly proportional to skills, you can have a gender change and will still end up with the same pay grade, only to revert back realizing that.

This doesn’t feel like the right space to explore the struggles of internalized misogyny, so I’ll leave it for another time.

I will say this: if women lived in a world without men, many of the women I know would likely feel comfortable wearing minimal clothing, or even none at all. Personally, I quite enjoy scrolling through the profiles of other pros. I like seeing little windows into their lives. Many of the women on this platform are stunning creatures, both inside and out—it would be a farce to say otherwise.

Edit to add: picture removed is The Three Graces
    Sculpture by Antonio Canova

  • Well, yea if there is no opposite sex, might well be naked as well. Eventually killing each other with jealousy :), which was my point. Also as far as scrolling through other posts, was referring to people who are insecure about themselves and not in general every women.

Imagine walking into an art museum and telling the curator that the portraits should be removed because the women in them are clearly “soliciting.” After all, why else would they choose to be so scantily clad? Of course, CC isn’t The Met, and the cuddlers who report pros for showing skin are just following the rules of the site. Still, the intensity with which they do so often makes me raise an eyebrow or two. It’s curious how some are quick to judge, it’s almost as if they relish in being hall monitors. lol

Edit to add: if any art snobs are curious Painting is the Three Graces by Rubens.

Flagged by a member of the community. Leaving comment intact but removing image containing (very tame) nudity [CharlieBear]

  • They are the Karens of cc !

  • What I've learned in my life being a person, it is perfectly fine for me to have an opinion about the way people choose to look. I can have opinion if every aesthetic, how they wish to present themselves, and what i feel is appropriate. But I've also learned that my opinion about others and their personal choices should be kept to myself unless asked.

Here's another thing about bodies. Everybody has one and no matter how it's covered we all know what's underneath. Cover it as much as you want, draped it with whatever and we are going to think of what ever we want and there is nothing you can do about it. Also imagination is much more powerful than the view.

  • @brownglucose your analogy is faulty.

Comparing an art museum to a website where you pay women to cuddle you is just a fallacy. Me not wanting your cleavage on a site that is supposed to be platonic, does not mean that I would be appalled by naked art lol. Let’s paint naked people everywhere, because art can’t solicit people for sex. Where would the money go?

Idk - your post felt insulting to art.

  • I Don't know how a comment on that cc moderators should be paid..could become so misconstrued..on second thought..this is cc

  • I'm all for pros being paid what ever the market can bear..as long as I don't have to sacrifice socks from my budget..mky toes are cold

  • Finally..if men disappeared from the planet...who would be left to blame for things when they go wrong

  • [Deleted User]CharlesGrove (deleted user)

The hatred we have for others is a pale shadow of the hatred that we have for ourselves.

I try to remember that the misery I see is the stuff that leaked out, that they simply could no longer hide.

It’s sobering how much pain everyone here is in.

  • @NikkiFM Wait until you find out that the woman who were paid to model for fine artists were usually courtesans and street walkers 😂

  • @ReltvlyCanshes

A while back I discovered I have a condition known as aphantasia. I cannot see images in my head (very jealous), so I for one am not thinking about what is underneath because I actually can’t. My imagination is non-existent.

  • The forums are clearly not as art snob friendly as my DMs. :,)

    B)

What can I say @Katota ? Coffee is life. Even though we disagree, I still adore you

  • We welcome the hall monitors. Please report inappropriate photos. This is how they get removed and how we slightly tackle the problem of people being treated like sexual objects on here. If one wants to see more skin and book with them, go to an escort site.
