Jimβs burgers π
A small thing, but cleaning a couple of faucet aerators. Faucets work so much better now.
Not sure if I should take this as a threat!π€£
Smiling because I survived a painfully tedious day at work, and my week off is getting ever closer. That'll do heh
Cow zoomies! π
@jillyain As you mentioned, I also frequently do not receive notifications of tags. Sometimes I do, many times I don't. I also often notice that when more than one person tags me in the same thread, only one notification is e-mailed (sometimes not the first tag, either). @Mark It's gotten quite sporadic; used to be very reliable. π
@jillyain Your Basenji is lovely! I looked up their sounds and they sure are cute!
@achetocuddle How did the blueberry picking go? π«

Amazon recommending maternity clothes because I had been browsing cute safari art that apparently is made for nurseries. π€£ Not on your life, Amazon! π π»ββοΈ
Speaking of, last up...this silly collection of giraffe "selfies"... πΈ π¦
I came across a fellow artist, and their work is absolutely incredible, so i might have to inquire further about a commission.
I wish I had more money and space to buy all the incredible art I come across. My own private museum
Waking up to a beautiful family. Heading out to a relaxing day with friends.
This girl worked an 8-hour shift at a Target she's not employed by.

The temperature got up to 50 and I did my first outdoor run in a long while!
Nothing.
Not one thing has made me smile today.
I was already living in constant pain, anxiety, disability, and the resulting depression.
Now I am living in anger and fear as well.
Itβs terrifying knowing that βmy kind of peopleβ will be in with the first groups going into the ovens they plan to build.
Although, being disabled as well, I suppose I will be trucked/dragged to a fresh open ditch somewhere and I will be lucky if they decide to use a bullet on me, instead of simply dumping the βblood sucking cripplesβ into the hole and filling it in while we scream.
Absolutely nothing
@CharlesGrove ill be right there with you. β€οΈ
I just wanted to say I appreciate this thread....smiling is definately do more...especially given the healing power a simple warm smile brinfs
Getting back to having the anchor within myself, instead of being tied to someone else and me getting tugged along.
There are people that live rent free in my head. This makes me over invest and give too soon.
Today I invested in myself, and it equated to free love to everyone around me, without trying so hard.
Also a certain poster within this forum made me really smile. I was surprised in what was said, and it made me feel seen.
It's sunny and 60 degrees today
5 days ago ago it was 13 degrees. Today it will be over 80. Dreading summer in Texas, but π anyway.
Same here in North Florida: temps went from the 40s a couple of days ago to the mid-70s today. That certainly made me smile today.
A YouTube video of a joke from Joelle and Mike.
I was able to tip a few cuddlers and buy their coffees for them today and that made me smile.
At work this morning I pulled aside a contractor that works for me to tell him thanks for some areas that he has really improved on. I gave him a few detailed examples of how he handled some work problems really well. He stood there pretty awkwardly quiet and once I was done talking, he said, "sorry I farted." I laughed my ass off. Not the response I expected.
Itβs too late I have already turned myself into a capybara good bye π
I got very sick last night and slept from 6pm til 930am. I told a friend who then told my mom. Without talking to her or anything she showed up at my doorstep with soup and Gatorade zero. For context she has bad arthritis in her wrist and hands and I know it had to have been hard on her to carry that. After some convincing from a Dr friend I got checked out and low and behold, COVID. Ive had it twice before and this time is kicking my ass the worst. But my mom showing up unannounced to check on me made me smile.
Still feel like trash but got some delivery that I had completely forgotten about ordering so yay for boots !
