I'd like some constructive criticism. I'm lonely, and been using this site for awhile, but I haven't had any luck making connections. Just wondering what's wrong with me.
You just joined this month,.it takes some time before you start making connections with folks. I would say your profile is fine, maybe add a couple more pics and make a mention in your profile about what it is about cuddling that you enjoy. You mention some interests and what you would like to get out of cuddling, which is great, but if you want to be able to potentially make some cuddle friends you may want to talk more about what you have to offer and what you can do to help meet their cuddle needs as well.
And this is me being honest. One mistake I see people make is they can come across sometimes as a little (or a lot) desperate and needy. Not saying this is necessarily the case for you, just watch that though and be self aware about avoiding that. Don't be afraid to message and reach out to people but don't make it all about cuddling and what you want them to do for you. Be friendly, try to get to know them as multi dimensional people. A huge mistake is to just contact a stranger out of the blue and say hey you wanna cuddle? They might be on a cuddle site but safety and rapport first. Common sense decorum.
You seem like a good human. Good luck
I don't see anything wrong just some Grammer stuff. Maybe a picture of you and an animal. I would recommend getting together with a pro cuddler in your area.
Good advice pm! I agree men come across needy and desperate and it not conductive of meeting someone here
Nothing wrong with you. There's plenty of threads on the topic of the heavily lopsided men to women ratio on this site, particularly for enthusiast women.
The site does have some misleading advertising in it's promotional material - basically "sign up, create an account, and message someone in your area, no need to explain, they know why you're here". The reality is that most enthusiast women on this site actually do want to have some mutual interest and spend some time getting to know someone before actually meeting.
Be patient, and try to engage folks with substantive messages.
@Wildforest Nothing wrong with you at all that I can sense, and if you think about it, you should feel a wee bit less lonely coming to the forums and getting a bit of validation. Patience, communication and kindness go a long way to meeting a cuddle partner on here. Cuddle Comfort is a light attracting lonely moths who understand or have experience with loneliness. I believe you have come to the correct place.
In the words of Yul Brynner:
“So it is said, so shall it be cuddled”
Are you reaching out to pros or just enthusiasts?
@Wildforest I think your profile looks great, definitely take advice from @pmvines about adding what you offer and show that you’re an unselfish caring cuddler, especially if you’re looking for an Enthusiast. Your photo shows a sincere expression and beautiful eyes. I hope you can find someone to cuddle! 🤗
I don’t see anything wrong with your profile. It’s way more set up than most guys. Looks great
Maybe more details in your profile and more pics. Show that beard off!!!
I think your profile looks great & would echo what others have said. Not really sure about the cuddle population in your area, but definitely just give it some time. If you travel at all, too, that may open up your options.
as others have said, i think the profile looks like its off to a great start. it could use development, check out the profiles of others who have a lot of karma and/or have been around the site for awhile to get a sense of what details they're including.
If you are looking for enthusiast only, it can take some time, there aren't as many female enthusiasts and they usually take time to build a connection. There are some great threads in the forums already about the first message.
I would consider meeting with a couple pros, get some karma. It's not that you can count 100% on karma but it does mean that people have met a real person and lived to tell the tale. It's then on you to keep developing connections with others through the messages.

I'm a non-pro woman on this site, and here's what I look for in a first message.
@pmvines you should start a profile review service. Very insightful stuff
One mistake I see people make is they can come across sometimes as a little (or a lot) desperate and needy.
Thank you @pmvines. I took out the pic of me on my knees, hands clasped, and a single tear running down my cheek with the caption “Please, I will sell you my soul for a solitary hug”.
A single tear, @TheFunCartel ?
Get real! Your mascara was running like a Deere.
Use waterproof mascara if you want to look like a tough guy. (Follow my page for more helpful beauty tips.)
I love (some) opera too, but I've learned over the years to never-ever-ever tell anyone that. BTW, this isn't John, I'm some guy who found John's phone. John hates opera.
@JohnfromVienna You know what? You really shouldn’t be ashamed or feel like you have to hide the fact that you like opera. People that tell you what is good or bad in music, or what is the greatest or the worst in music, are the greatest fools with the worst self-esteem or possess the worst understanding with the greatest ego. I do not care for opera but if it makes someone else happy, then that is all that matters. Music, regardless of genre or artist, is not a competition, nor is one person’s taste above all others. Music is an art form that is there to transport one into thought, happiness, anger, tears or whatever that may move the listener.
Listen to your opera at full blast with the windows down my man!
@JohnfromVienna If music sounds good to you then enjoy it. It's like wine. If a particular wine tastes good then it's good wine. Not a fan of music, wine, food or any other kind of snob. That is all.
@JohnfromVienna @TheFunCartel
Klingon opera is doubly cool! But Gilbert & Sullivan are good too ... "A British tar is a soaring soul, as free as a mountain bi-ird ..."
@JohnfromVienna
I listen to music that sounds like mountain lions simultaneously fighting and mating while involved in a motor vehicle accident. I'm sure opera is fine.
@pmvines Pantherra?
Absolutely nothing wrong with your profile! These things take time. I messaged you!
You have some excellent advice here. I second the point about balancing "I want" with something - your profile is great but I can't get a feel for what it would be like being cuddled by you.
Another reason to hang out in the forums - apart from absorbing wisdom, and learning from other people's mistakes instead of having to make them all yourself! - is that people can get an idea of personality, "hear your voice". It isn't always easy making conversation with a stranger while the question of meeting hovers in the background, and it isn't at all easy conveying your real self in the early stages of chatting.
It isn't about having something wrong with you (which you haven't) or rather trying to be the "right" kind of person. "Trying to be" anything is so transparent, feels fake and can misrepresent lovely people. It's about being you, and letting people who like exactly that turn up.
Yes it takes patience. I'm female so in theory in demand compared with cis men. I've belonged to CC for a few years and had very little luck. (To be fair I haven't tried hard and I'm shall we say geographically challenged.) But getting more initial interest means spending more more time and energy filtering time-wasters... On balance I think luck is about evenly balanced. But yes, men have to send the first message most of the time. As well as making sure it's clear you really get it about platonic - boundaries - safety - etc etc.
As has been said, be interested in the person not just the cuddle. You'll have new friends too! Even if they don't end up as regular cuddle buddies.
Your smile is sweet, you don't give off any bad vibes at first sight. Hang on in there.
I took out the pic of me on my knees, hands clasped, and a single tear running down my cheek with the caption “Please, I will sell you my soul for a solitary hug”.
😆😆😆😆
@TheFunCartel Right, I decided to "remove" the pic of me dressed in bra and panties holding a sign that says "free cuddles". Lol 😆
I have been doing better since I removed "that pic". 😜😆
Not really, I never posted such a pic cuz, PLATONIC!
@pmvines Beautifully worded, friend! 😊👍
I just want to feel close for awhile and get to know each other.
THIS! 😊👍
@Wildforest This line is basically what I say in my profile, perhaps worded differently but it sends the same message as yours. Best of luck to you here! 😀🫂
Another reason not to despair - I just checked my messages and found one from 9 days ago that I hadn't seen. With only email notifications and not getting on the site all the time, it's easy for new hellos to go ages without being noticed.
Looking today also reminded me of one who'd deleted their profile before I even saw their message. I think that happens a lot. It's a real shame.
