Women reaching out first

  • As a female enthusiast I usually reach out to people who have messaged me, when I'm setting up World tours, as many of my American fans won't be able to see me in Australia.

  • @Vespurrrr

You are a cuddle pro though, aren't you ? Not an enthusiast ?

  • Sometimes I message my visitors especially if they are frequent visitors but even then it mostly never turns into an in person cuddle, which I found odd. Not sure why people are creeping on my page but can’t say hi

  • The original post is about enthusiast cuddlers not pros.

I'm not so sure everyone got that. 🤔

  • @MeltMyWay
Unfortunately I don’t think every poster has read the OP since it has reached page 4. It would be great if all the female enthusiasts chimed in as their insights/perspective are really valuable!

  • It is unfortunate that lots of people don't go back and at very least browse from the beginning.

For the O.P. if I was giving advice to a male enthusiast friend in here ... I would say to vette the situation, make sure you let it be known you are only looking for unpaid cuddles, and see how they respond to that. If given an sort of sob story about needing money for car repairs or late rent etc.. I would politely decline because it is not your problem. Especially if it is the first or even up to 3rd time cuddling such person for free. Unless you truly feel called to help. Happily move forward but stay aware ... I guess would be my best advice. And I say this because of how often I hear stories from men here saying they were taken advantage of. Happy cuddling 🫂

  • Wow, we seem to have enthusiastIC famous people on here 😲

As an enthusiast, I reached out first several times when enthusiastic about interesting profiles I came across. Sadly most of those guys ghosted at some point, so not gonna happen again soon.

  • I always message people!!

  • Before becoming a pro cuddler, I messaged men first when I was an enthusiast.

  • Thank you @MeltMyWay and @ProfHermes
I had that same thought and didn’t say anything either 😆

Though some of the information given in this thread was useful and I did find out the person was real and met them in person before having a cuddle session with them the next day

    So it indeed isn’t impossible

  • @Jeremiaaahhh yay I love that so so much. Happy cuddles 🫂🫂🫂

  • @Jeremiaaahhh
So stoked you met up with that enthusiast! 🧸

    .

  • Nevermind, I completely change my mind about reaching out first. A professional reached out to me first, (and I don't know if she was trying to make a point, but it was appreciated) and it was so tastefully and simply done I am totally for reaching out first now.

  • @Suzie_Q I'm so glad you shared your initial and end reactions to reaching out first. After I read your initial post I felt like such a nuisance reaching out to anyone. New to the site or seasoned I just didn't say hello anymore. I legit stopped lol
I had a mentoring session with another pro that helped change my mind but it's chef's kiss that I was able to see your second comment. When it's done tastefully, it's a great dialogue

  • I have been messaged a few times by female enthusiasts. Most are just curious and have never cuddled before. They read the Karma and make a choice to contact. Only once did it become a cuddle, and the enthusiast had been drinking before hand. Not the best cuddle, but we sat on her couch, watched TV and chatted for about an hour or so before we mutually decided to finish the session. No Karma was left and she deleted her profile a few days later. I don't think I'm a bad cuddler, but I cannot speak to her experience.

I've had no success messaging others (that's my reason for not messaging anymore) and others don't message first for reasons. Is everyone waiting for the other person to message first? So how is anyone supposed to get to know each other?

I've had some pros respectively reach out to me after I visit their profiles. One I've been chatting to a lot and planning to meet up with soon. I'm grateful she gave me a chance.

  • Okay, my 3rd time commenting on this. I originally was against reaching out first, then a pro reached out to me first, and now I have been reaching out to people first and not only has it all been positive, I am really truly glad I did.

There are a lot of kind and genuine people on this site.

  • If you check my profile, if your profile interests me expect no less than a question of curiosity, what led you to my profile?

  • I reach out first on a regular basis. I'm trying to find a connection with someone local. I don't think it should matter 🤗

Been on CC almost 3 weeks, have had pros reach out after I visited their profile… that I am grateful for, each and every one… but have also had two women initiate conversations who are “enthusiasts” or whatever the appropriate term is for non-pros… one is a woman who has been on the site for months, but has no listed karma or friends, who checks in infrequently… but always offers thoughtful responses when she does… my impressions from our messaging being that she is a widow, intrigued by the idea, who is not yet really invested in what this community has to offer…
The second was another (self-identified) woman who was immediately banned from the site after sending me her contact info without a booked appointment, and after weeks of banter offsite, she ghosted me when I explained I wasn’t interested in crypto, after gathering from her soft-sell approach, that it was what she was getting at…

  • @JojoGriff You dodged a bullet with that last one. Treasure the other...it takes time to build up confidence and trust in this special corner of the world. Especially if grief is part of the journey.

  • There's an equal amount of Dudebros & Dudegals out there. @Katota knows all about it

  • Being reached out to by an enthusiast is definitely rare I would say. One reached out to me recently in late July and after some conversation, we set up a time to meet at an ice cream shop. The meeting went well and so did the cuddle that was set up for a later date.

I'm thankful to be in Colorado. We have a strong cuddling community here. I've had a great time meeting people at the local cuddle groups that meet up once a month and being able to participate in the last Meet & Greet cuddle conference in February.

I've had the opportunity to meet people like @OhioMike and others that I have met in forum or met through Pro friends in Colorado. It's a wonderful community.

I don't mind when pros reach out after I have been "window shopping". Sometimes I click on profiles after reading profile postings and have to remind myself who that person is. I'm always open to sharing warm conversations with other good humans

  • I would not only welcome outreach from anyone, but would welcome replies from those I reach out to, even if only to say, "Thanks, but we are not a good match." (Non-replies are very common for me. Something in my profile or normal?)

Now, "good match for what" is an interesting question, because I'm offering more than just cuddling here. I welcome just corresponding to get to know folks in this community (enthusiasts, pros, whatever). I hope that's clear in my profile.

I know how to avoid problematic communications or requests if they arise. So far none. Or, if I don't, I already have some friends here I could get advice from. (Thank you friends! 🙏)

  • @JoyfulAbandon Unfortunately, it's very normal to not hear back, especially from female enthusiasts. Your profile is fantastic; it's definitely not you. 😊

  • Women reaching out first

    I'm perfectly okay with it.
If I wasn't, I'd mute or delete my profile.

  • @SunsetSnuggles Thank you! My spirits are lifted. ❤️

    😆

@Goonie4life Lol! You can say that. 😁👍
