I feel that this thread from the OP is perfectly timed right now. Some of the people here actually enjoy the site and have had successfully communicated and even met some wonderful people. I’m getting tired of the negativity of some of these threads. I think pmvines is a positive, successful person who has successfully enjoyed this site. There are those who are continually argumentative. Yes that’s their right etc etc. Happy and content people can speak also and have the right and opinion to message about it if they choose. I’m not an argumentative, debate non stop person , I feel. I try to stay as positive as possible. Even this crazy year I’m trying really trying to stay positive. Everyone, it’s a cuddle site Lighten up. Even as old as I am (another thread all together) I really enjoy this site, and I’ve been here a while and don’t normally communicate of forums. But I’m glad pmvines posted this.

I have asked mods to close thread. What started as something meant to be harmless poking I see has the potential to be hurtful to some and that is not my intent. I am not always polite but I am not mean and dont want to be hypocritical

I've never been one of the cool kids before and don't think I am now (example: I'm not part of the "Cool Kids Club SandWish" being served at the CC Cafe ~ sniff-sniff).
Also, no one person has been named because the behaviors mentioned by the OP happen all over this site by a number of people. To start calling them out individually would be unfair as some would surely be overlooked. Goodness knows we all don't need another thing for whiners to whine about, so good job all!
Also, the removed posts did became a "side show" and I was partly to blame. In fact the last two that were removed I had been quite active in (yikes! I may need to do some self-reflection of my own tonight!).
**@Mark ~ I'm wondering why the mods are going the full removal route, because although publicly facing, both forum topics that were removed recently had stayed onpoint given the titles.

"Unresponsive Cuddlers" had people not hearing each other/not responding the way the other wanted and we were actually starting to learn why some people are the way they are. To not be able to come back and say, "Hey, just wanted to clarify I'm coming from a place of caring and would like you to know that I spiraled out and lost some perspective. I hope some of my earlier points resonated and you're remembering to take time to care for yourself (something I was reminded to do by three different people today). Sorry, I got flustered and lost focus on my original intent 💗", is a bummer and I don't understand why that's not being permitted.
Then in the, "Did anyone watch that circus show on TV last night?", there was all kinds of back and forth discussion that leaves me really confused as to why it would be removed. Maybe remove a portion of a comment or two and/or add in a, "Hey kids, you're pushing the boundaries of rules XYZ so keep it in check." type of warning. But to just remove the whole thread takes away the positive impact some of that discourse could have on those who don't understand what all the outrage is about.
