On a super cool possible activity note.... There is a cool Renaissance event happening at Sunset Park (hence our change of venue) called the Age of Chivalry.... I hear there is some jousting available!!! I wonder if anyone would be brave enough to don some chain mail??

@sillysassy I know quite a few people from the various 'guilds' that will be set up at Age of Chivalry, as I used to be involved with the Renaissance reenactment/re-creation communities... The event is usually quite crowded... and if you can manage to stay after 'guest hours' end (usually by being invited by one of the guilds), the 'after hours' parties can get quite crazy...

@OhioMike is headed out there this weekend and we are so glad to have some locals taking a look at the parks and the outdoor space. This specific park is fairly new and the reviews are outstanding! 95% of the comments said FIVE STARS and everyone was grateful that there was some thought and care put into this park.
I know that not everyone will be happy with any location for various reasons of amenities, distance or location, but it certainly feels like the outside world kind of fades away when you get this many beautiful humans together in one place.
We aren't planning to stay late at the park for safety reasons.... (I mean.... It IS VEGAS!!!!) but we will have the ability to make anywhere we go feel fabulous. All those cuddle peeps coming together in one place?? Who would want to mess with THAT?? Its like we are our own little gang. 💗💚💙💛🤎🧡💜💕💛🤎💚💙💜🧡💗💖

A very new, clean , quiet park. Only 2 walkers and two skate boarders while I was there
Oh thank you @OhioMike for taking time out of your vacation to get those pictures and scope everything out!! It makes me feel vastly comfortable seeing how clean everything is... the proximity of the restrooms... and all of the parking. And a 7-11 right across the street will be fantastic for ice and drinks!!! YAY!!!! Its going to be just fabulous and it feels like it's right around the corner!!!
I'm wondering how many people that are coming to this LV shenanigan will be interested in doing things outside of the traditional Strip and Casinos. I was checking out some dance club possibilities and saw some of these.... Anyone ever been? Anybody local have some suggestions? I was looking for a East Coast Swing dance club but I didn't find anything yet... Maybe this if we all met at the airport at the same time.... Hmmmmm...... (besides the flash mob hugging of course!)

@TeaBabe most people I think have same concern. Confident our community can figure something out. The meet and greet is during daytime (noon to five) and parking is right at the pavilion.
@TeaBabe Welcome to the community!!! What a fantastic profile. 😊 One of the reasons we are doing this as a "Meet & Greet" is so people don't have to be so nervous. There are going to be lots of new people meeting each other and making fun connections. I am fairly confident in saying that even the most introverted people who came to the STL meet up had a very enjoyable time. These are some beautiful souls here!! Take a look at the first page of this thread and it shows who has said they were coming. You can look at profiles and get a feel for some of the peeps in order to tame the anxiety a bit.
Also.... when it starts getting closer people even start renting/sharing rooms so its almost like summer camp!!!
