  • I have had enthusiasts and pro’s not respond. I gave up trying to figure out why.

it is very concerning to me that you titled the topic 'John'. I wonder if your approach is part of the problem

  • [Deleted User]Mman (deleted user)

Gee' here is a new subject.

  • Who is John?

  • [Deleted User]WriterGF (deleted user)

It happens. You have to consider a) when was the last time the person you are writing to logged in - they may not be active anymore and b) how many messages are they getting a day. Enthusiasts, in particular, get buried in messages and probably do not have time to read all of them, let alone respond to all of them.

  • If you are a john then your cuddle isn’t platonic.

  • [Deleted User]Mman (deleted user)

I have received six messages back for every message I sent out. All of them clamoring for my time and attention. I may have to refer back to my old user name.

    Dear or Deere

  • Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt

  • @cudbud64

His name is mine name too!!!

A good blast from the past.

    Thank you

  • @cudbud64 @Bear

It's officially stuck in my mind...😆😆

    Ah...Wick 1, 2, 4, 3 in that order best to worst.
Side note if Wick, Bourne, Reacher, Mills and McCallum get into a fight, who wins?

Only checked here to see if @pmvines had commented yet.. I mean that topic… 😂

  • I have experienced the same issues. What's the point of even trying anymore. Too bad there is not a way to programmatically close someone's account if they have any messages they haven't responded to within a week. I get that people can be busy, but c'mon...if you have time to setup an account, you should have time to reply to messages you get. Why create the account in the first place if that is what occurs. For those that are lucky enough to have people messaging you, it only takes a couple of seconds to reply with a "sorry, not interested, if that is the case.
    No reply is just rude.

  • @Bobd - Why do you want an inbox filled with "not interested". I don't understand that mindset. Worry about the ones who reply. Also some guys don't take "no" for an answer will will try to get reasonings and argue with them.

  • @Bear you mean "Jon" 😂🤣

  • @Mike403 I agree to an extent. If you attempt to schedule with a pro, the cuddler could at the least hit decline. I was on a time crunch once trying to get a session scheduled, and in this scenario the person logs in the day before, views my profile and crickets. I don't care to guess why they didn't want to schedule, but as a "pro", either decline or accept. Just like any business would. Or then they are really not a pro in my opinion.

@rocauser2009 All pro means is they get paid for cuddling. Some are very serious and professional about this and about how they do business, and some are not. One suggestion is to look at karma before you message ... that way you know they have had at least some satisfied customers before.

@zany195 you are a man who cuddles women. Men significantly outnumber women on this site, and most women receive an unmanageable number of messages.

You are not the first to experience this problem, and you may find these threads useful:

@Bobd in busy areas women can receive tens of messages every day and replying to them all is just not practical. Furthermore, a polite refusal can result in a torrent of abuse and in the modern world it's just not worth the risk.

For some people, particularly trauma survivors, setting up an account is a major victory in itself and replying to a message is battle for the future. For this reason, and others, many women do not reply to any messages at all.

I infer from your post that you feel that in some sense you are entitled to a reply from the people you write to. However, this is not the case: an opening message is technically unsolicited and therefore a reply is not required.

For the record, I've cuddled with about a dozen different enthusiast women that I've met on this site.

Edit: I should add that there are enthusiast women who are unable to find a man to cuddle on this site, and outside the big cities it's not even that rare. It turns out that it is depressingly difficult to find in one man an acceptable combination of half-decent opening message; profile that has taken more than three seconds to cobble together; willingness and ability to hold a basic conversation on text; and genuine understanding and acceptance of 'platonic'.

  • One thing I have found is people who are initially enthusiasts waiting to become pros will not respond until they become pros.
I dont know if there is a misunderstanding of what can be done during that process or they may just be waiting to cuddle as a pro.
Ive never ask why, it is really none of my business how they may do business.

  • @BgstickTeddyBea what about Frank Moses? What about Robert McCall? Or, Salt, Peppermint, Ava, Kate, Lou or any of the other female assassins? The Mechanic? I don’t mean to dilute or deluge the field but there are so many. Now that I think of it, I wonder if we have a bit of an unhealthy intrigue with these kinds of characters.

Oh, how could I? I’m so silly. Forgive me. I forgot the most well known of them all…. James Bond.

    Or was it Johnny English?

    There are sooooo many.

@teddybear888 Salt would take them all hands down. That would be the best video game. All your favorite movie badasses as playable characters on a injustice type platform.

  • Forgot this was the John thread..lol

  • @CuddleDuncan amazing answer !!!

  • @BgstickTeddyBea if I remember correctly, there is some way the site indicates that someone is waiting on approval to be a pro cuddler. I know personally, I created my account, applied for pro status, then logged off an didn’t log back in for a few weeks, but came back before I was approved.

Wow. I received an overwhelming number of low-effort, monosyllabic, and one-word messages. Then there were the standard, “cuddled anyone here yet?” messages, or the upgraded version from the self-appointed mayors of Cuddle Comfort saying, “Welcome. How’s your experience here been so far?…CuDdLeD aNyOnE YeT?” As if they are subtlety nominating themselves to assist in that mission. One or two would say things like, “I see you’re in the process of becoming a pro…”

Interestingly, ALL but like two of these inquirers became uninterested when they discovered I was monetizing my affection, or never responded, because they were scrolling the site hoping for a quick date or hookup, and sending “Hey,” to every woman that crossed their path. 🙄 The worst though are the men who have done one of the above, acted interested in booking a session, but then vanished or made some lame excuse once it was clear it would cost them more than a lukewarm message to get a snuggle from me. This typ ande is also notorious for visiting my profile daily…sometimes multiple times, but never messaging again or initiating contact now that it’s clear there is a financial investment. I’m not sure what the motivation for that is, but I’m grateful for them pushing traffic to my profile.

I’m quite used to being bombarded by low-rent messages from men who couldn’t even be bothered to read my profile on various social media sites, content sites, or other online networking venues like CC, so I was expecting such a response. However, the number of messages I received exceeded my expectations exponentially. I really can’t imagine what creating an account here is like for the casual enthusiast or even someone brand new to pro cuddling. I’d imagine many get scared off and never return. That sucks, because I know there are decent people on here looking for a solid enthusiast.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.🙂

From a Pro Cuddler standpoint, personally:

I forget to check this site because I work a full time job. I also manage. My job comes first. The individuals that I corespondent with on here, understand I stay busy and when asking to book, I ask for a range of times and dates so I can modify my schedule when I have the free time to accommodate a session.

@sage91436 that's very kind, thank you.

    @Rachel_P

I’d imagine many [women] get scared off and never return.

True. I've encountered quite a few. Sometimes they chat for a bit, sometimes they reply to my message, "I can't cope with this" and have deleted their account by the time I see their message. It's a little bit heartbreaking.

In other words gentlemen, if you've sent more than say, fifty messages and have never had a reply .... then you are part of the problem.

  • [Deleted User]CharlesInWI (deleted user)

    I agree with @CuddleDuncan gentlemen.

    We are the problem.

I recommend not reaching out to any of the women here.

Post some comments here on the forum, be patient, and wait for the enthusiasts in your area to reach out to you.

All of this becomes far, far easier when you give up hope.
