  • Idk if this is a frequent question(s) or not but is the majority of the platform people who sound like they are into stuff like tantra, energy, spiritual, and all the other niche stuff?
Im not really into any of that stuff but is that a kind of lowkey requirement or something?
Asking because thats what a lot of profile descriptions sound like.

  • @a_cactus
It’s not a requirement at all.
I think a lot of pros try to sell something “therapeutic”. A lot of men enthusiasts try to appear a way they think will be appealing.

Some are legitimately into that stuff but plenty of folks are not.

Just curious.. When do newbies' profile photos start showing up next to our forum posts/comments? 🫣

  • Just curious.. When do newbies' profile photos start showing up next to our forum posts/comments? 🫣

Just like the post office. They appear when you’ve been naughty and someone like the FBI or a CC deputized Mod is in pursuit.

  • @AngelNextDoor i think you have to go in and manually select one as your “main photo” I know in your profile one is selected as the main one.

  • @AngelNextDoor I had to put it under "friends only" view them back to public for mine to show.

  • If I block someone can they see my messages in the forum?
And can I report someone I blocked?

  • @a_cactus
Yes, they can still see your messages in the forums.
Go to your chats with that person and tap the 3 dots. If no chats, unblock, report and block again.

  • Thank you

  • @a_cactus THAT WORKED! Thank you so so much! That was bugging my ocd so very badly. I owe you a debt. 😇

  • @AngelNextDoor np 👌, one hug emoji will suffice lol.

  • I was trying to find anything on what virtual cuddling is. Maybe I missed it? Can somebody explain in detail what that entails?

  • @Greg_B
Read the Pro Cuddling forum (this is the General section). You will see a whole thread about virtual cuddling pinned in blue.
There’s quite a lot of reading, important info that is available for you to read here so that you don’t have to ask people to explain it all to you. Best of luck!

  • Can pros not block people? Asking because I read a comment in a different forum that made it sound like that

  • From what I understand, the forum is the great equalizer - where you can see people's posts whom you have blocked or have blocked you. So you still have to interact with them on the forum. (Which kind of defeats the purpose imho.)

So they can be blocked but its not a block across all ways of communication on the site.
*Actually I think I asked about that here before.

  • @a_cactus if someone communicates on the forums directly with another who has blocked them, it's considered circumventing the block which is not allowed and can lead to being banned.

@Adragayle why aren't they block*ed on forums as well?

  • I remember reading something about the posts not making a lot of sense if some replys were omitted and that it would disrupt the flow. Personally, I think that it is better to be able to follow the natural flow of the threads than to be wondering what was said based on the responses that I would be able to see.

  • I guess it would matter about how far someone would be willing to go to not interact with the one they blocked, even as far as not seeing the proper flow of a conversation because of the block

  • Just playing devil's advocate - a block feature would only work if it was a one-way street on the forum.. i.e. if you block someone, you don't see their posts. That way, the conversation would not be disrupted since you wouldn't read the posts from the person you blocked anyway.

Alternatively, if someone is blocked by everyone then no one would reply to them or engage with them but they wouldn't know why.

  • It seems this is being discussed in another thread as well, so i do apologize if this is repeat for some folks but wanted to share in the "right" place.

You can absolutely block people from viewing your personal profile and from messaging you directly.
You will still see them and their comments in the forums because that is a public space.
Given previous discussion on this, that is highly unlikely to change on this site.

So basically, it's kind of like the rest of life. You can block someone from being obnoxious in your dms and from contacting you directly. but you can't block someone from a restaurant or other similar public place and engaging in whatever behavior you found unsavory.

if someone tries to use the forums to talk directly to you or directly about you, you can report that behavior. it will lead to timeouts in the forums and ultimately bans if it continued.

  • @AngelNextDoor after getting some responses and thinking more about it, it looks like if it was implemented it would just form a bunch of groups of people because of dislikes which probably wouldn't be good site/community wise, especially for new people.

  • Would you be warned if you started talking to someone in forums and you didn't know they blocked you?

  • @a_cactus my guess is you would get a warning but you can click on someone and it will tell you if they’ve blocked you.

  • @mauvefox I have been blocked by someone without messaging or viewing them before

  • If we're wanting to vet a cuddler prior to scheduling a session as a pro. Are we allowed to exchange contact information for a quick call? Or do we need to schedule it as a booking and it must be paid even if it's 5 minutes? I'd hate to charge them for just a short vetting call but also don't want to get in trouble for exchanging contact info without scheduling a paid booking. How do I go about this?
