Is Cuddle Comfort a monopoly?

Analogy: Cuddle Comfort is Microsoft. Where is the Apple, Dell and Samsung? Is this good for the cuddle movement and industry as a whole? What's a good way to change this?

Theres two other businesses of freelance cuddling and they suck. Not because the pros there are bad but because they give less to pros and theres no forums or any type of profiles for clients.

I would really hesitate to compare Cuddle Comfort to Micro$oft. It's closer to a gathering place for Unix or Linux users where you can find professionally polished versions for a price or find free versions and learn to work with their unique quirks. Both approaches are equally supported. There's little to no attempt being made to take complete, domineering control of the market as calling it a monopoly would suggest.

If you want to start up your own site to cater to your own ideas of how things should be run, then you're free to do so. I can't imagine there would be any attempt from @Mark or any Cuddle Comfort users to shut it down. You'd be much more likely to have extra support from people glad to have a new little sprout growing in the cuddle community. Even Cuddle Comfort is still just a sapling. There's lots of growth yet to come for this site and for the movement as a whole.

Ha ha, comparing CC to Microsoft in terms of acting like a monopoly is like comparing a guppy in a pond to the great white shark in the ocean. No offense intended toward Mark if he has dreams of world domination. He has shown no signs of trying to monopolize the cuddle world, but rather has focused on trying to provide a tool to support a fledgling community. More specialized communities will develop as the movement grows.

And while we do not have an App at this time, please do not create one as we want the option of saturating that marketplace in the future.

Cute. I thinks Cuddle Comfort just has a much better business model which contributes to their success growth. Key factors:

1. Constant supply of new cuddlers, both pros and civies.
2. Easy to make a connection with the cuddlers - you leave them a message and they respond (usually ..lol)
3. The forum helps air out issues
4. The admin is good about weeding out not so good cuddlers / profiles.

Having said that I think competition is good, but the other sites .. TheSnugglebuddies, Cuddlefix and Cuddlist are not as good overall.

Just my opinion

Thesnugglebuddies totally sucks.
The owner doesn't even pay his snugglers til they cuddle a bunch of people. First time snugglers who try cuddling have to see more than one before they get their money.
He is also very controlling acting like a pimp if you ask me.

Snugglebuddies sucks badly. I prepaid for a cuddler since they don't give out info only to find out I have to pay twice to book.

CC might be a monopoly in certain areas but it really depends on the number of pros working there. Where I live, there aren't pros for a hundred miles around, but a local cuddling service is doing fine. My experience with them so far has been very positive.

Hi! Sorry, I felt the need to say hi before I commented.....Anyway, I actually did research and looked into other sites before choosing this site to be a pro and as I have never been a cuddle seeker on another site, I can only say, that from my research, this site is better toward professionals and I loved the forum idea. I kinda just scroll through sometimes. I'm what is called a lurker. ><
Also Congrats to @chococuddles My family had to stop playing Uno years ago as it always ended in a wrestling match.

Ahh...Brazilian jujitsu eh? But yeah. Being the smallest person in the whole dojo where most of the guys are a foot taller than you and out weight you by 3x really toughens you up! Lol.
Just like @Victoria92, cute and deadly fufufufufu. They never see it coming.
