This is kind of embarrassing. A part of me has wanted a relationship for a long time, but my experience on dating sites over the years have been stressful and overwhelming because I have social anxiety issues and need a lot of alone time. It's possible that I'm simply too socially anxious and introverted of a person to be long-term relationship material, so I've been thinking about the possibility that maybe a website like this one, that's not about relationships at all and offers a lot more space, is more suitable for me. Maybe simple cuddling with people I'll likely never see again is a good first step for becoming more comfortable with skinship for a person who's always been alone.
