I would describe myself as having a quiet, shy personality, often, I would say, producing polite turns of phrase, with a simplicity to my life where long durations of just being with someone in silence (as in conversation) has its appeal. There needn't be any physical contact - a coffee and a pastry in a public place would be fine, or an ice cream in a park. Often, at the weekends, I can be found in a coffee shop somewhere sitting quietly with a book.

Recent update -

Firstly, apologies, in that I have since discovered my height to be, I believe, nearer 5'7" than 6' - but am unable to change the Height on my profile.

Secondly, if we should find that we both would like some physical contact, I think I would feel very comfortable with hands caressing hands - if that was something the person I was with felt comfortable doing.

Further update -

As well as reading in coffee shops, I recently bought a book of colouring in postcards and I've been doing that as well in coffee shops. I find it very relaxing, therapeutic, etc. Seeing myself as a tongue-tied, shy individual, if someone would like to do some colouring in with me in a public place, like a coffee shop, I'm thinking it could be a way of us sharing each other's company without us having to engage in much conversation if we're finding it a bit awkward. (The postcards that I can bring with me can easily be detached from the book, so it would be easy to work on one each.) Just a thought.
