These are all aspects of the universal energy of Love that all Human Beings need in order to live a healthy and fulfilled life.

Our bodies are designed to ‘reach’ toward each other when we feel needy; in healthy home environments children learn that their primary caregivers are available to ‘hold’ them, and that it is safe and appropriate for the child to reach and receive energy.

By adulthood, most of us are conditioned away from the natural reflex. We bury the sensation of ‘need,’ and suppress our instinct to ‘reach.’ Instead of recognizing and accepting our natural needs, we judge ourselves for not being completely independent. We feel shame when we find ourselves craving closeness and simple presence from another.

We forget that we are worthy.
We forget how to ask and to receive.

Let’s drop the stigma of ‘neediness’, release the conditioning to deny and repress, and return to what is natural … and Human.

Let’s cuddle!
