One hug began an adventure over a weekend cuddle workshop that included mutual understanding and expressions of consent, boundaries, and being ourselves. The world began and ended with his firm and confident touch, and I cherish the time outside of time that we had together. I am glad to get to know this man and call him friend.

Cuddlevatelove: Is it a verb? A noun? A way of being? In my mind.... the user name he has chosen feels so indicative of his desire to CULTIVATE connections and grow them into being. We related about a lot of life experience (farming, construction, family etc.) and took plenty of time for table talk to make sure we were both on the same page before the cuddling began. (ABSOLUTELY Delightful BTW)
Cuddlers before me have mentioned he is respectful, kind, great touch, intellectually engaging, self aware.... I agree with all of that with absolute certainty.... But....

For me, what was most extraordinary with this man is his willingness to verbalize his feelings and questions even though it is new terrain and it might be kind of scary. His desire to explore the territory of emotion with curiosity. His desire for self growth is tangible and that is rare to find in the world I live in. (Plenty of other people choose to stay in the safe world of MATH PROBLEMS 🙄)
