I'm still trying to figure out whether I have anything to offer this community - and vice versa. I seem to be older than almost everyone here, so let me emphasize that I'm not looking for romance nor sex. I have three deep romantic relationships, and no energy for starting nor maintaining another; but I'm in Austin three nights a week, and none of my girls live anywhere close.

I'm "in my head" enough that touch is very important to me. I was a flower child back in the 60s, and got pretty good at "social" massage - not just neck and shoulders, but also (for example) feet and hands. A girlfriend told me, long ago, "You give great afterglow;" cats think I give good purr. I ran across the "Cuddle Sutra" recently, and I think it's enchanting.

I'm not only tactile, but also emotionally alive. I've done many years of psychotherapy, have read many books on psychology and personal growth, and often still find new realizations. I recently started journalling (as per "The Artist's Way"), and am trying to stick to that.

So I'm hoping that this site might lead me to some cuddle-buddy connections. I do NOT need sex partners, but I'm not just looking for a kitten or a pillow. If you are a compatible musician, we might do some casual music together; if you do art, we might do some parallel work.

PS: My wife and I are poly, and I'm not sneaking; if you're worried about that, I'll dial her up and hand you the phone.
