First session with this client raised multiple hygiene and boundary concerns.
Session took place at a Motel 6 with visibly unclean sheets. Client arrived directly from work despite previously agreeing to be freshly showered.
During the session, client repeatedly sought very close contact and spooning. His hand moved inside my pants near my lower back/butt area; I verbally told him to stop. He initially appeared confused/dismissive but did stop. He also tightly grabbed my joints/bones in a way that felt very uneasy & uncomfortable. He continued attempting contact near the side of my butt despite physical blocking.
After the session, when I gave feedback about cleanliness, he responded with conditional language:
“I will shower before you arrive just to please you… only if you feel comfortable wearing shorts.”
This felt inappropriate. I clarified that I do not take clothing requests and do not offer skin-to-skin contact, and declined a second session. He continued framing skin-to-skin as a comfort issue rather than fully respecting the boundary.
Posting so others can be aware of hygiene issues, boundary testing, and conditional consent language.
