I am originally from the United States and travel frequently.
I have tried cuddle therapy several times and found it to be extremely cathartic. Physical touch is an essential component to mental health and wellbeing for most human beings (including myself), and it can be difficult to engage in meaningful touch when traveling and not around close family or friends.
I am most comfortable spooning my cuddle partner. I am also comfortable holding one another while lying down and being cradled by a partner. I would say a medium intensity of touch is typically what I am comfortable with, but that can vary.
