ABOUT ME
I'm an intelligent, college educated male. I am a well-rounded individual who enjoys discussing politics, religion, science, movies, photography, music, history, and books. I like meeting new people and have fun. My friends say I have a good sense of humor and I love to make people laugh or at least put a smile on their face. I'm laid back and get along with almost anyone.

I have a very caring and giving personality. I consider myself to be a true gentleman and pride myself on my manners. I am very open minded and enjoy exploring new experiences.

TELEVISION
When I’ve had a particularly trying day, I love to get lost in the western genre with Gunsmoke, The Rifleman, and Maverick. I also own the entire 240-episode set of The Andy Griffith Show, which is also an all-time favorite. I haven’t had a lot of time to watch TV lately, but I love comedies such as Modern Family or Big Bang Theory and dramas like Masters of Sex or The Sopranos. Call me a nerd, but I love me some History Channel!

MOVIES
I’m into movies with a good plot and story line so I stay away from slasher/horror movies and some action movies like Fast and Furious. I love a good Will Farrell, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg or Steve Carell movie. George Clooney movies tend to have a good storyline and excellent writing. A good Amy Adams rom-com is always good brain candy when I want to escape to fantasy land. My all-time favorite movie is Casablanca because I identify with the main character, Rick.

MUSIC
I have very eclectic taste in music. It just depends on what mood I’m in. If I’m feeling nostalgic, I might listen to classic rock. If I want to be transported to a different time and attitude, the Rat Pack or big band does it. I listen to rap/hip-hop when I’m angry and country when I’m feeling patriotic. A melancholy mood calls for blues or jazz. I even have zydeco and classical when nothing else will do.

STYLE
I look great in a suit or tuxedo, but I have one entire closet for my t-shirt collection. I prefer a comfy t-shirt and shorts because I like to show off my calves. I’ve received several compliments on my legs. I’m not into making a fashion statement like some guy on the cover of GQ. I prefer the classic look of Brooks Brothers and Land’s End. I compliment the look with a pair of Lucchese cowboy boots.

FOOD
I love food! I’m quite a foodie and I enjoy five-star restaurants, but I also love a good hole-in-the-wall barbeque shack with the barrel pit out back. If it’s located on the side of the road, then you know it’s good.

BOOKS
I read quite a bit. I read about two non-fiction books for every fiction book. I love books about historical events, organized crime, and spy craft.
