I like to cuddle because I need the human contact. I have a job where I have to be always "on," always in control and on top of my game. But I need the softness of touch as well - touch is a love language for me. I'm also a weird mix of introvert and extrovert, and one of my ways of recharging my batteries is touch and physical closeness. It is also healing and recharging to me to be able to provide sanctuary - physical, mental, whatever - to someone else in the shelter of my arms and presence.
