Hi there! I am fairly new to NYC but not at all intimidated by it. I've spent most of the past 8 years meandering around Asia, teaching ESL and art in China, adventuring in Laos and Vietnam, vacationing in Hong Kong and Thailand. I'm a pro with the chopsticks and a really good cook. I am fluent in Mandarin, as well as Spanish, so do feel free to contact me in either language. I am more than happy to chat.
I'm a multiracial woman from a Latina background and we love physical contact. People touch constantly, whether it be an arm around the shoulders, or a kiss on the cheek to a casual hug every time you see an acquaintance. Touching is not reserved for a single "special" person. Even my male childhood friends grew up hugging each other.
Unfortunately, in China, casual touching was seen as overtly sexual and very shocking. It began to seem shameful to hug my friends and greet them with a kiss. It was ultimately very traumatic and somehow dehumanizing for me to not engage in casual affection, so I am now hyper aware of how it feels to not have access to touch.
Since I returned to the US I have been working as a nanny and enjoying the heck out of cuddling my little cuties but when I saw that cuddling could be an actual job I was blown away, and decided to give it a try.
