I am not one of the trained cuddlers, I just posted here so the cuddlers would have a bit of knowledge about me.

I enjoy helping others. Moving? I will come with a Jeep and a big trailer. Lawn mower wont start? I will try to get it going and usually do. I work with the youth club at church, the kids call me Uncle Mike.

Perhaps it comes from my childhood. My mother, both grandmas and mothers sister were always glad to see us visit. When I was a kid, they would scoop me up and hug me like they didn't want to let me go. As I grew taller and too heavy to pick up they still would give me a genuine hug when we visited. I suspect I was spoiled a bit by those gentle, loving women.

It is very trying now, my wife has alzheimers and needed nursing home care when her MS caused other problems with balance and weakness of the legs. So now I seldom get a hug even when I visit. She still recognizes me but she is not the person I knew just one year ago. Never asks for a hug any more.
