While I enjoy my personal space a lot, I recognize that every now and again I need to wind down, relax, and just enjoy close physical intimacy. I really like doing it later at night right before bed, as all the lights and electronics are going off. It's such a nice way to get ready for sleep. Living through quarantine in 2020 and not being around anybody for months at a time has definitely given me a new perspective & appreciation for physical affection.
