I'm a family man. And though I don't have the pleasure of getting affection at home, I'm extremely committed to putting my family and others first. I've worked like a horse for decades to keep financial burdens on my shoulders alone. After a while though, you just feeling like being held.

A coworker, who I had the pleasure of helping work through some very stressful relationships, told me the other day that I'm what every young lady is looking for, hard working, kind, understanding, good looking and not misogynistic (her words). She says I'm her work Dad and calls me Pa. Too sweet! A manager at my other job described me to her coworker as a vampire because I apparently haven't aged and she can't believe I'm the age I am. Others have said I'm laid back, easy to be with and have a great and witty sense of humor.

I love to talk about things that challenge the mind: alternative history, Christian apologetics, manufactured hegelian dialectics and their intended synthesis, and end times scenarios that are dark and foreboding. Everything my family does not want to hear anything about. LOL! Yet, I wake up happy and go to bed happy. I'm not moody in the least and never complain. I love to write, study and research a topic with a gift for understanding mysteries.

I don't ask for much. I just hope to find a sympathetic soul. Maybe just a chat buddy. I promise to always be respectful, kind, and wise without being a know-it-all. I crave learning and allowing every relationship the time to grow deep roots and blossom into something beautiful. I try always to consider every soul to be precious, priceless. And it hurts my heart when someone feels like I've failed at that.

Nevertheless, affection is my love language. If I could wear a shirt that says free hugs everywhere I go, I would. Many already take advantage of my addictive huggability factor. I don't judge and I'm not looking for judgment. I'm looking for understanding and to lend an understanding ear and, if honored to do so, a broad shoulder for someone to lean on or even cry on, and arms to make you feel safe and cherished.

I love traveling and meeting new people. My dream would be to walk across America while a friend travels ahead in a camper, just in time for me to freshen up, maybe cuddle, and go again, trying to help as many people as I can along the way.
