About me
I'm an often boisterous, ridiculously warm goofball; I'm a voracious reader, a lover of music in all its fantastic varieties, and a friend enthusiast.
I absolutely love puzzles and board games, especially cooperative ones, but I don't mind competitive ones; there's something inherently satisfying about grappling with problems that have a solution, no matter how difficult, as opposed to real life issues ^^;
I'm a complete nerd, bouncing between books constantly, playing MtG with friends and roommates, and while there never seems to be time for it now, I loved the cooperative storytelling of TTRPGs.
I will absolutely take any opportunity to make a joke, especially at my own expense, and I'm a fiend with puns (when does a joke go from merely cheesey to a full on dad joke? It'll be apparent; usually after aging to full groan)
My username is because I was born with an umbilical cord noose, and it's something I feel shaped a lot of my outlook on life.
I love to cuddle because I feel platonic human touch is something vital that so few people get enough of, especially as social constructs frame it so often as a romantic or sexual thing only. There is something absolutely wonderful about both holding and being held, the warm support both given and received; I used to have a few cuddle buddies back in Louisiana and Texas, but it's been years since I had any since moving up here and I realized recently just how much I missed it.
What I'm looking for in a cuddle buddy:
Honestly I would love to just make any kind of friends up here, I can count the number of people I know up here on my fingers; if we click and cuddles are an option, I am absolutely down to cuddle at any opportunity, I was raised in a household that cherished hugs and friendly embraces, but I also absolutely respect boundaries, and expect for mine to likewise be respected. I am comfortable with all body types and genders, my only request physically is that any prospective cuddle buddy has good hygiene (showers, clean clothes, etc.) Clear and open communication is a must, I will be *thrilled* if we just gab and chat the first few times we hang out and see how well we get along, and I very much appreciate open communication of expectations, desires, and limitations.
Pros and cons (depending on your opinions):
I generate a ridiculous amount of heat (which is why winter months are the absolute *best* for cuddling)
My sense of humor is almost impossible to turn off
I usually sleep with a CPAP (essentially free white-noise if sleep cuddles are an option)
I have ADD (could write a full essay on this one, if you know you already know)
I am not the best at regularly checking messages, but I promise to reply to any that I receive when I do remember to check!
