But then, like a beacon of light

And suddenly everything changed
Your smile, your touch, your words
Melted away the walls I had built
And I found myself falling
Deeply, irreversibly in love
I never knew it was possible
To feel such overwhelming joy
After so much pain
But with you, my heart sings
And I know that I am home
