About me

"Lovable nerd" is a pretty apt description, but I get the deepest satisfaction looking for the transcendental moments in life. I'm an attentive listener, empathetic, pretty mellow, and generally kind-hearted; but toss in a dash of sarcasm for good measure. Hobbies include hiking, walking, disc golf, traveling, reading, photography, and yes, video games. Currently trying to add a little more meditation and forest-bathing to my life (look up shinrin-yoku, forest-bathing is totally a thing). I'm a huge fan of hugs, naps, fireplaces, head and back rubs, and being completely present with other individuals, no distractions. Blanket forts are also amazing.

Books- I enjoy older literature, history, mythology, and philosophy, but spend most of my time reading Sci-Fi and Fantasy. There are far too many books to list here, so if you want to know specifics, feel free to ask.

Movies/TV- Almost anything superheroes, Lord of the Rings (books, too), Stargate (lovable nerd, remember), Star Wars, Star-most-things, really. I like a lot of classic films as well. Not to suggest that Star Wars isn't a classic. That would just be ridiculous.

Music- Motown and some of the 60s, most of the 70s, and just about anything from the 80s. And, to my everlasting shame, some dance club music.

I can be a bit of a daydreamer who spends entirely too much time thinking about philosophy, nature, and what it means to be human... Or that my profile might come across as a tad bit pretentious. I'm really a fairly grounded guy who somehow manages to be both an old soul and a kid at heart.

ThoreauBack is the absolute best! We did the unconventional thing and had our session in the middle of the woods and it’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done. 15/10 would do it again.

Thoreau was an amazing cuddler! He was so respectful and kind and always made sure to check in on my comfort level. It was an amazing, calm, relaxing session and I cannot recommend him enough! 😊

Apparently, forgot to write this when we met awhile back. He's a great communicator, wicked smart, felt completely safe with him, and even got to enjoy taking him to my favorite restaurant in town before our cuddle sesh. Hope you come back to CC soon, Mr. Thoreau!

Thoreau is a super sweet man. He was open to being vulnerable with me which I have a lot of gratitude for. It was enjoyable both to share conversation and to snuggle in silence. I felt very safe.

I had an amazing afternoon with Thereauback- he’s on a trip across the country and back again, and one of his stops luckily for me was in my home town of San Diego, and I could not be more thankful.
He is kind, he is charming, and sweet, he likes dogs, he’s so easy to talk to, and very interesting, he is also very respectful of boundaries- I would 100% recommend that if you have to opportunity to cuddle with Thoreauback that you say yes,
I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Oh my goodness, what a thrill this session was. This man is charming, kind, goofy in the best way, and SO sweet! I was extremely comfortable around him the entire time.
