Back in 2014, a friend and I paid a visit to Cuddle Connection in Roseville, California. We were told it was the first on-site business of its kind in the U.S., and I felt lucky that it was just a short drive away from my home in Sacramento. My girlfriend and I had broken up the year before, and the isolation I was feeling in the aftermath was really starting to get to me. The cuddling I did that day was just temporary comfort for me, so I was determined to find a regular cuddle partner. I discovered CuddleComfort in December 2016 and have met a few people since then for cuddle sessions. Although I'd very much enjoy having a relationship again, I'd also be very happy just to find a companion I can cuddle with and possibly share a few common interests with. I'm fine with cuddling in any way that's comfortable for both me and my partner and am open to trying different positions to find out what would be most satisfying for the two of us.

I'm a big pop-culture geek with sizable CD, DVD, and graphic novel collections. I also enjoy art, board games, tennis, and bowling. I became interested in politics in 2016 thanks to comedian and commentator Jimmy Dore, and I have since become an activist connected to several groups. I have a passion for subjects like the JFK assassination and MKULTRA, so you'd probably hear me ramble on about various "conspiracy theories." I'd be eager to get together with those who have a love for local music. Honestly, my overall experience with this site has been frustrating. Since 2016, I had contacted about 240 people, heard back from about 70, and have cuddled with only 5. The years 2020 and 2021 were obviously bad for cuddling, and I don't think we've fully recovered from that madness. But if you're a scammer, you're only interested in sex, or you're actually looking for a romantic relationship, I'd rather not hear from you. I'm looking for a cuddle partner, and I'm not sure why it's been so difficult to find one through a website designed specifically for those who want to cuddle. I certainly wouldn't say no to sex or romance if there's a mutual attraction, but the initial intent should be to find someone to cuddle with and see what develops from that.

That said, I'm glad CuddleComfort exists since it HAS given me the opportunity to meet a few people and actually do some cuddling. It's just a shame that the pandemic made it much more difficult for people to get together since it was already difficult for me personally.
