About me
Back in 2014, a friend and I paid a visit to Cuddle Connection in Roseville, California. We were told it was the first on-site business of its kind in the U.S., and I felt lucky that it was just a short drive away from my home in Sacramento. My girlfriend and I had broken up the year before, and the isolation I was feeling in the aftermath was really starting to get to me. The cuddling I did that day was just temporary comfort for me, so I was determined to find a regular cuddle partner. I discovered Cuddle Comfort in December 2016 and have met a few people since then for cuddle sessions. Although I'd very much enjoy having a relationship again, I'd also be very happy just to find a companion I can cuddle with and possibly share a few common interests with. I'm fine with cuddling in any way that's comfortable for both me and my partner and am open to trying different positions to find out what would be most satisfying for the two of us.
I'm a big pop-culture geek with sizable CD, DVD, and graphic novel collections that reflect my passions. I also enjoy art, board games, tennis, and bowling. More recently I've become interested in politics and have become active in groups like DSA (Democratic Socialists of America) and WILPF (Women's International League for Peace and Freedom). I'd be eager to get together with those who have a love for local music. If you're a fan of Anton Barbeau, Agent Ribbons / Tele Novella, Knock Knock, Dog Party, Daisy Spot, Kepi Ghoulie, Pets, Baby Grand / Arts & Leisure, Peter Petty, Joe Kye, Ricky Berger, or Jerry Perry's tribute shows, let me know so we can catch a show together.
Oh, and I should mention that I've added three photos that show off my work at an annual arts festival called Chalk It Up. I've been an artist for the event for 14 years now. Be sure to come check us out next Labor Day weekend if you live in the Sacramento area.
Honestly, my overall experience with this site hasn't been great. During the past four years, I've contacted about 240 people, heard back from 67, and have cuddled with only 4. 2020 has obviously been a bad year for cuddling, and I don't expect 2021 to be much better. But if you're a scammer, you're only interested in sex, or you're actually looking for a romantic relationship, I'd rather not hear from you. I'm looking for a cuddle partner, and I'm not sure why it's been so difficult to find one through a website designed specifically for those who want to cuddle.
That said, I'm glad CuddleComfort exists since it HAS given me the opportunity to meet a few people and actually do some cuddling. It's just a shame that the pandemic has made it much more difficult for people to get together since it was already difficult for me personally.
