I am a fully vaccinated professional caregiver with a very small "bubble".
I met up with an old friend a few days ago and I received my first big hug in a long time from someone who I was not related to. I was moved to tears. I realize now just how much I am missing physical touch from another adult. I feel like my batteries have been charged.
As a caregiver I am proficient with providing a gentle and careful healing touch. I would like to practice receiving and giving intentional physical comfort.
