Hi. What a cool site. I’ve been looking for people who get this kind of thing my whole life. I’m a massage therapist, yoga instructor, software (cloud infra, security) engineer. Yes i know i don’t look 40. I’m also a former triathlete, spent most of my life in Chicago causing all kinds of traffic trouble as a fixed gear cyclist. Used to go to raves for jungle music. Used to bike race. Used to used to used to. I still do some art here and there. I’m a trained vocal artist, love to sing. I’m sometimes lonely on the peninsula. Let’s be friends. I moved here because Chicago was too hard to find a house to buy and i wanted to get out of the renting world. But i love Chi. Love Sequim too.

Lately I’m having trouble sleeping and i used to have a roommate who would put an arm around me, and that helped. Wondering if similar will work this time. I’m usually fine and occasionally have insomnia from perimenopause. But very recently it’s gotten so challenging. I’m not looking for anything much. Just to relax and trust that I’m safe.
