@OhioMike @KozyKim are you planning on having a donation jar so people can help pitch in for the pavilion rental etc? Also... you said "bring food to share" are the coordinators providing things like plates and cutlery, napkins etc.
Would you like us to message what kind of food we're bringing? Is anyone in charge of drinks like water etc or should we all bring beverages AND food? I am making plans!!

...and yes we the coordinators are providing cutley, cuttery, cullery, er forks, spoons, and knives 😂 also napkins! And plates , etc.
We will have some food and drinks brought to pavilion by the coordinators. We will probably be setting up @10am that day. There's a wonderful Kroger's on same side of street of park less than mile so plenty of time to get stuff last minute. But please bring your favorite's to eat , drink, and share with group!

The park is on high street which is the main street running north and south thru Columbus. Just a few miles south on high street past OSU is the Short North District which is similar to your Yellow Springs downtown, fun and quirky and just a blast to walk around. There are several karaoke bars in the district 🎶

Oh! Just a question: @OhioMike~ If anyone wants to, could we maybe wear name tags with our screen names? Name tags, hats, t-shirts, something with our screen names--- so we'll be able to "identify" the members with whom we've interacted, on here, while there at the meet?
Seems like that would add yet another layer of familiarity and ease to our meet-n-greet!

I lived across the park for like two years back in day so definitely familiar with that area. Clintonville is the name of the area the park is in 😊

OMGOSH!!! The Short North District.... I keep imaging signs around that say things like "Vertically Challenged Folk are welcome here...." It reminds me of a place in CO called "Tiny Town." (in name sake only 😂😁) It looks like such a fun place! Can't wait to take a walk and see all the fun stuff out there.
And @Umoja and anyone else.... We have some "TRAVELING NAME TAGS" and they've been at MOST of the Meet&Greets. We packed them away after CO and they will be coming out to OH.

Ok so stopped by park 🌹 today. Beautiful Sunday 83 degrees and sunny. Lots of Families, couples , some bridal groups etc. the roses 🥀 are everywhere now. Hopefully the community isn’t getting tired of my pics lol
