  • The last time I had a foot massage, sex was the farthest thing from my mind. I was more like...."I want to relax and go to sleep". To each his own, I guess?

  • hi best cuddles?

  • Hey How Is Everyone Feeling Today... Does Anyone Believe In Mental Check Ins Or Am I The Only 1

  • what's a mental check in?

  • HI! I am new here, and new to the whole "cuddling' world. I think I have a general idea of what it's all about; therapeutic platonic contact. No sex or naked stuff. No "petting". If I am making false assumptions or over-simplifying, please let me know. Once I have had a few one-on-one experiences, I might be open to hosting. Anyone with experience hosting cuddle parties, I would love your advice as well.

  • I would like to be able to host, just not at my home. I’ve been trying to find a space to create an ideal cuddling area however finding that kind of specific type of space is proving tricky. Anyone have any ideas that have worked for them? Thank you in advance!

  • I am in the same situation. The best thing I have come up with is a motel room. I have found a couple that will take cash for an hr or two for way less than the regular room rate.
Yes I checked them out and the ones I have found are clean and perfectly good enough to cuddle on the bed.

  • @tranquilsoul @Bohemianguy and any others.

For daytime cuddles there are a couple different “Dayuse” sites. They are a third party that book decent hotel rooms during daytime hours for reduced rates.

    Dayuse.com is one.
    HotelsByDay.com is another

There might be others. But be sure to book a couple days ahead and I would call the hotel to confirm they received the reservation since it does come through an app.

  • @tranquilsoul I used AI to help me find my studio and belive it or not, it found it on Craigslist. I'm not surprised because a lot of elderly people still use Craigslist to advertise. I hope this helps!

Aloha CuddleComfort Community! I've been cuddling here for almost two years. Last week I received my first request to do a Meet & Greet prior to scheduling a cuddle session. Is this a common request? Previously his messages expressed his enthusiam to meet me. I wasn't exactly sure how to handle this situation, so I politely declined since I wouldn't be compensated for my time. I offered to ease his anxiety by informing him of my experience working with a diverse clientele, how I provide trauma informed care and gave him the option to cancel our session upon meeting if he wasn't comfortable with cuddling. Has anyone else received this request? Thank you kindly in advance.

Hi @TattooSqueeze! I do a free short zoom before the first cuddle with a new client. But I agree on the reluctance to meet in person without compensation. I had that request only once and I declined.

  • @TattooSqueeze I’d honestly be concerned if this wasn’t requested. Being overly anxious and disregarding ones safety screams desperation to me and that could go either way!

@CuddleStudio great idea with the Zoom call. I’ll suggest that when he messages me again. My reluctancy is more so respecting everyone’s time. I can typically tell through conversation if I’ll be a good match for them or not. I’ve recommended a few Pros whose profiles read similar to mine if schedules aren’t aligned. The ones I’ve declined in the past have always been banned. So I always trust my Spidey Senses!

  • @great_pillow08 are you saying you do Meet & Greets before booking every cuddle session? I’ve worked with anxious clients before, it’s never been a problem. Getting to root cause of their anxiety helps calm their nervous system.

  • As I try to be more active on here, I’m also being very selective of which requests I accept by using discernment. I’m reading through Karmas and frequently see Karmas including wine, roses, charcuterie and even dinners. While I understand the need to get to know each other before cuddling and everyone does this differently, these read like dating experiences and I’m curious if this blur boundaries of keeping cuddling platonic. I probably spend more time than most messaging prospective clients, but I feel the need to do my own vetting and not solely rely on Karmas left from others. Even if a client has 20+ Karmas, behaviors can shift from each provider. Could those who are having these specific pre-cuddling experiences share if a repeat client begins to expect more than cuddling or feel the need to no longer financially compensate you?

  • @TattooSqueeze I would definitely be wary of anything that indicates any parallel to dating vibes. those folks tend to be very confused about what this site is about. I don't want flowers and chocolates from a cuddle bud. I don't want to be dazzled, or romanced in any kind of way.
(now if we've become friends and we're gonna eat ice cream while we binge watch tv, then that's a different story 🤣)

I think it's a good idea to read through profiles and karmas, but remember karmas don't always tell the whole story. they just show that someone lived to tell the tale. 🤷‍♀️
As an enthusiast, I tend to take a very very long time getting to know someone, so usually I've got that figured out before I get to an actual cuddle with the person. That might not be as feasible for a pro though. But it sounds like you do try to converse with your folks at least for a little bit to get a sense of them and that's honestly the best way to do it.

  • @mauvefox appreciate your thoughts here. I always read profiles, then Karmas. I read those romantic-esque Karmas and pass. If I find them interesting or match my vibe then I start a conversation. I ask very thought provoking questions to filter out who best would co-create a good space for connecting with me. While I am open to cuddling everyone, I'm mainly looking to connect with a select few who are align with what I can provide. As an enthusiast, what would you say is your most favorite part of cuddle sessions you've booked on this platform?

Thank you so much for your posts here. As a newcomer who is really inspired by the idea of being able to set aside all the ways I’ve been pre-programed my whole life to equate cuddling and intimate platonic touching with romance and sex, my experience here has been very freeing and liberating. But I am also realizing that the way I share my enthusiasm, and go about discussing meetings with providers to connect can create easily misunderstood vibes or messages… like what you just described – wanting to bring a gift in appreciation, but understanding that my ideas of bouquets or treats might feel very inappropriate by someone with whom I don’t have any history. Your tips about reading the karmas beyond the profiles has already been so helpful. Thank you so much for all the wisdom and experience you’ve all shared. It is really helpful for those of us that don’t want to treat this as a hook-up site, but also are still very much learning how to navigate physical touch building respectful friendships where we can have those amazing oxytocin producing moments of shared platonic bliss that leave everyone serene, invigorated, and grateful all at once… 🙏

    @mauvefox
Thank you! I really appreciate your posts and have enjoyed your contributions to the culture here across multiple forum conversations helping to curate a safe space for people to discover genuine human connections, without some of the expectations our society has instilled in us that may no longer serve us well. The time, thought, and consideration you provide us all is generous and beautiful... and I am grateful. 🙏 🤗

@TattooSqueeze (reply to your July 23rd post)
I like to request public 'meet & greet' time with providers because for me, it is a much more comfortable, natural and interesting way to connect prior to cuddling than exchanging words on a screen (or maybe I'm just old school?). I'd always rather get to know you over a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, or taking a yoga class in a butterfly sanctuary (both real opportunities that have arisen here), than staring at my phone... To be fair, I'm still new, and have only had two cuddle experiences, one straight cuddling, which was an amazing experience... but honestly, it felt a little weird for me to jump into someone's arms in bed I only just met 5 minutes earlier... even in a fully clothed platonic situation... (and that's on me, she was perfectly kind and welcoming)
But the second experience, where we chose to take time beforehand to get to know each other... getting the chance to share a hike and a meal before we cuddled... really made for a much more rewarding experience for me. And there is ample scientific evidence (one example here) that shows how shared extraordinary experience forge closer human bonds.
I never asked about her fees and rates, but she provided me a rate in advance I paid (with a gratuity) when we began the day, that included additional compensation at a discounted rate (she chose and offered), for the walk and meal...
While I think it's important to always clearly communicate necessary financial compensation in advance... I would only amend that with the recognition that there will be people like me who might not mention it, only because it isn't our priority. I assume, when it is time, you will let me know what you need. (And, obviously, we can't exchange personal contact info until we've established, and agreed to terms for the day...) Maybe some other folks have better methods? And I would welcome them to share... I am not saying one is better than the other, but only trying to share why someone might share my preference...
I am offering that, for me, inviting providers to share some time together prior to cuddling has nothing to do with evading whatever anyone requires as compensation, and everything to do with prioritizing getting to know each other better and creating a more rewarding experience for everyone...👍
(Not to say if you've got someone who knowingly solicits you as a pro, who doesn't want to compensate you for your time, however they'd like to spend it... they've already proven their not worth your time...)🙂

  • @JojoGriff Thank you so much! That means so much to me ☺️

@mauvefox You are very welcome. My Profile pic was taken in your neighborhood (White Mountain National Forest)... one of the most beautiful National Parks I'd never heard of, with miles of really well maintained, amazing hiking trails and views...

  • Welcome to CC indeed 😀
