Connecting, communicating, closeness and compassionate caring are elements that become so very important as we journey through life. People come and go throughout our lives, some leave an incredible imprint on our being that increases as we share with others. As children we are eager to explore, learn and share all that life gives to us. But often times something or someone tells us we must become cautious, not be open and honest with what we feel. We then spend a lifetime trying to rediscover the open, trusting, connections of our youth. The greatest lost is the innocence of feeling free to be close, to touch, to express ourselves freely and openly with no fear or expectation. To simply be, floating in the energy of the universe while wrapped in another's arms is the reason I believe cuddling is a positive life force in recharging our innermost selves.
