My best friend describes me as a sweet, kindhearted and gentle person who cares and loves others just as she loves herself. Someone who sees good in others. Someone that others can rely on to talk about anything without judgement. A person who cares for others needs and does what she can to help those who are in need or are struggling. Someone who is positive and honest.
I like cuddling because it is therapeutic. It releases Oxycontin in the brain that calms you and releases stress -- a major reason why people struggle to fall or stay asleep. It also facilitates the development of authentic connection and the type of secure attachment that some people may have never had in its fullness. It's comforting and can really provide a base for health, wellness and happiness.
When I cuddle, I like to hold the person or cradle them.
