Mark is highly unreliable and disrespectful of professional boundaries. He confirmed our 7:00 PM session at 5:30 PM, only to cancel at 6:50 PM, just 10 minutes before the start time.
He initially refused to provide the platform-recommended 50% cancellation fee, only agreeing after I explained the loss of income from blocking my Friday night. Since then, he has spent three days stalling payment with false technical excuses. He repeatedly attempted to harvest my personal phone number by claiming it was required for Venmo, despite being told the verification step is optional and easily bypassed.
Ultimately, he refused to pay the fee he agreed to, citing his 'generous' reputation with others as a justification for ignoring my professional terms. He is a significant time-waster who attempts to pressure providers for private data. Avoid.

** The hotel's cancellation policy is between you and the hotel; it does not nullify our agreement or the fact that you blocked my Friday night and canceled 10 minutes before the start time. My time and professional boundaries remain the same regardless of your logistical choices. Furthermore, Venmo does NOT require a phone number to process payments; that is an optional verification step that you refused to skip despite being told I do not share private contact information. Attempting to condition a contractually owed cancellation fee on the release of my private data is harassment, plain and simple.
