I’m a guy. For a guy to say that he needs an emotional connection, platonic in nature yet as intimate as being cuddled and nurtured is to invite open ridicule. But, that is what I need at this point in my life. I understand boundaries, I am gentle and polite. I’ve been through some difficult times over the past several years, and as a result I have anxiety and depression issues. Situational, I think. I see a therapist, and while that’s good, I think I need a deeper connection without the pressure of being a boyfriend right now. I see this as having the potential to help me move forward in my life.
