A topless photo isn't really in good taste according to many users here. I think it depends on profile content ultimately, or if there is an inappropriate gesture in said photo. Some people genuinely want to show they're into fitness with topless photos so being topless alone isn't really enough to warrant a report I would think.
@Catloaf - As the Client Services Agreement states that men must wear a t-shirt during cuddle sessions, I think many of us feel that a shirtless photo is inappropriate as well as irrelevant for this site. Being into fitness is fine, and that can be demonstrated with a tight fitting t-shirt on. But showing off your naked torso on this site gives a very poor impression, especially if it cuts off the face, which is how you're going to recognize someone you're meeting for the first time in person. It gives the impression of a narcissistic personality, which is a type of person I'm not interested in meeting at all.
However, there doesn't seem to be any rules against shirtless male torso photos here at present.
If I see a profile that is just a chest with no face, I would be inclined to ban. That's suspicious to me.
At some point I'd like have a process to tackle the more general shirtless issue but for now there's plenty of reports of a more serious nature that routinely need addressing. Hopefully at a later date there can be more resources available to better handle the milder offences.

I agree that it does not look good at all for a first impression in most cases. In fact there has been only one instance where I saw a client who used a shirtless photo. This was someone who clarified their position luckily - he had been obese for the majority of his life but worked hard to get fit, was only using it because he was incredibly proud of his accomplishment and the photo was professionally done in black and white as opposed to "sexy selfie style".
Profile approval really is needed for these situations but I understand unfortunately that there isn't really a way to implement it efficiently yet.

nothing like seeing a new person in your area that's on at the late night/early morning hours like you only to start talking with them followed by doing a reverse image search on their main photo only to quickly find out you're talking with an escort and you have to ban them because they aren't looking to use the site as intended. just my luck lol

I wouldn't see a problem with a lady providing cuddles who also just happens to be an escort, but only if she is honestly only doing that and was separating it from her main business by screening her clients heavily to ensure they are not bleeding over from that industry to this industry. In fact I have two friends who do this elsewhere, but in their sex work they are careful to blur their photos and not leave in any identifying features. Going around and using the same photo is stupidity on their part.
And with many places to advertise DIRECTLY TO their clientele, I am thinking it is just greed on their part because no amount of free advertising is ever enough for them. I wish places like CuddleUp would follow suit against escorts like we do here. Some of the profiles are worse than what you can find on your local Backpage.
There are tons of cuddle enthusiasts who also happen to be hobbyists though, especially in my area. I recently learned that a friend "in the biz" was hired by one of the guys in my city who I later learned is with Cuddlist. He was a client of mine before this and I was shocked when my friend showed me the photo of the guy who called her - my client who is ALSO a professional cuddler! I contacted them regarding this and they said while they would take it up with him, they couldn't really do much as he can do what he likes on his own time.
Part of me worried that he might be coercing ladies sexually on CU, but he did not push boundaries with me so maybe he's one of the few who can separate his sexual hobby from his cuddling hobby. Rare, but there are folks out there like this, I guess.

Just chiming in here, but I think the main challenge with escorts who cuddle is intent. Reurbo stated she is not here to use the site for its intended purpose, so obviously something she said or had on her profile gave her away.
I'm not saying an escort isn't capable of only cuddling, its just that if their norm is charging for sexual services, you are inclined to believe that this is the intent on other sites as well. Especially when you consider the rate of say 200 per hr for sexual services and 80 for cuddling it might be too tempting to try to offer other services.
@pmvines I too think that is where price plays a big role in suspicion. My friend as mentioned has her "going rate" somewhere round $300 but offers her cuddles at $100 last I checked. She doesn't advertise that she is also in sex work (as far as they know she works in retail) nor does she admit it to clients even if they ask. If a client pops up on her cuddle business from the other business or vice versa, they are not responded to. She has been recognized many times by her tattoos alone, further advancing my point that often times, although we don't like to admit it, some cuddlers have some experience in soliciting sex. She also is smart enough to not show her face in her "other" advertisements at least, but recognizing tattoos means someone spends a lot of time in certain places. I think knowing someone is an escort vs. them being a more clandestine escort is the big difference and how you present yourself.
@Catloaf i hear ya , I suppose too many gray areas for admin though I am sure there are people here who also may offer other services but just don't advertise it and likely only offer it to a select few who they feel won't rat them out! I actually know a lady who is an escort and when she passes through town we hang out to cuddle. Never had sex and never been a client , but she just misses having a real connection and not having some one only wanna be around for sex so goes to show that sex workers are very much capable of platonic touch too
@pmvines Yeah, it's likely on the grounds of "don't ask, don't tell". I wouldn't doubt it's going on, especially when sites like CuddleUp are #1 in SEO for professional cuddling as a search result and you look at what's going on in there. Total trainwreck, sex is bring sold in the open (still illegal but not enforced here in Canada) and it gives the impression that this movement is a convoluted attempt at normalizing prostitution. Those who take advantage of that stigma aren't welcome here, the community is vigilant, and that's all I am glad for.

I wouldn't have judged or even said anything if I'd met with her knowing that she was an escort.. she's still a person that could genuinely have wanted just someone to cuddle up with, but when they later add content to their profile saying

followed by turning the conversation to "I would love to show you how I give the best massage you've ever had!!! I do it for a living Im a pro, so I pretty much know all the spots!!" and upload nude photos that were also on their escort page... there is a line and it was crossed at that point. Also, she wasn't listed as a Pro and didn't once mention money to me, but what's already been mentioned and further investigation pointed to she was using the site as a way to get clients for sexual services. 2. to do a reverse image search, simply go to https://images.google.com/, click on the camera icon, and you can paste the URL to the photo or upload (or drag & drop) a photo over and it does a search to show if it can find that image or similar ones that are public online.
Like what @pmvines said that if she'd genuinely wanted to be here for platonic reasons I wouldn't have had any problem with it, would have enjoyed making a new friend on the site that I could see in person, and would have enjoyed meeting her to cuddle up from time to time, but when it became obvious that's not what she was looking for from this site then it's not something that can be allowed here.
For those using Chrome, you can do a reverse image search by simply right clicking the image and then clicking, "Search Google for the image".

@CuddleMonkey3 on the homepage is likely a fake profile or is using a profile image that depicts a minor. I put the photo thru reverse image search and it came up with 11 interesting results dating back to 2013. She lists her age as 18, but her picture appears to come from dating/hookup sites as far back as 2014. The earliest result is 2013 on a fanfiction website, so it could very well be real. But the outdated photo is a huge red flag. @Mark, what do you make of this?
There's a new profile called CuntDracula. There doesn't seem to be anything inappropriate other than the name on it but I don't think a name like that is a good sign.
