At the age of 17, I competed and placed 3rd in the national lumberjack championship. I didn’t have the money or sponsors to go on to the world championships but my friend did. He became the mens world champion and his sister was the woman’s world champion. 🪓 Later in life I had a collection of over 50 slot machines 🎰
I once spent part of my on-the-clock work day ice skating.
Does that make me a professional skater?

@SunsetSnuggles haha, thank, young at heart. I have liquidated most of them. Kept only the very rare machines so I still have a small casino/game room setup at home. They were all to be part of a bigger plan in a retirement home. Had a chance to buy the casino franchise on a small cruise boat that travels between Port Everglades and the Bahamas but the numbers were just not where I needed to be and no guarantee for dock space at the port for the following year.
Since no one on this site really knows me very well, pretty much anything I say might be surprising.
I have had features on my sports memorabilia collection filmed on more than one occasion. I have also announced hockey games on national television.

@Finnegan2017 Cool! Is it something you collect as an investment to sell off one day, or do you love every piece? I collect toy ponies and model horses. Not worth much, but they make me very happy.

I am a classically trained guitarist. BUT...I injured my hand and arm 2 years ago. Currently I'm doing rehab and working my hand. I still can't play. Playing my guitar was my release valve for the day or week. I'll play again.
Sometimes kundalini energy makes me flop around and undulate likes snake and make weird noises like something out of the Excorcist, but it’s a good thing.

I once participated in this ritual fire walking barefoot when I was still living in NYC. It was part of a workshop given by a colleague of mine who's a hypnotherapist. I didn't really feel any pain.
