Dude that sh*t is MONEY. holding hands builds social bonds like y'all got some mama/baby kangaroocare jawn going on. Oxytocin for days, or more like minutes cuz the half life but iykyk. Anyway holding hands is awesome.
I'm a happily married non-binary femme asexual person with a deep appreciation for the power of touch and a deeper fascination with exploring the human condition. I have other awesome social labels like nurse, nerd, ADHD, that person who just had to touch everything in the store and make an "Oooo" noise like they've never left the house before today. I love listening to people tell their story while making excruciating levels of eye contact. I also love light touches, spooning, playing with hair, making ASMR noises, and consent duh. I laugh like it's my job and swear like it's my second job that also pays me every time I swear, like when I laugh, that I implied earlier in this sentence being my job.
Snuggling and cuddling is my third job, even though it's probably more like my first because no one actually pays me to laugh even though I do it all the time and super loud but whatever, anyway, I love all the woo-y and sciencey stuff out there around touch, and obviously take everything super seriously.
