I was nervous for my first cuddling thing, someone I don't know, cuddling with them? What?? Thought it would be pretty awkward and was for maybe 20 minutes but wore off quick. Don't do it till you really feel you are ready of course.
You don't have to! You could try to find a cuddle social/event or do some research and online cuddle trainings. Read forums and make friends who are like minded. Talk to a female cuddle provider or have a session with a lady- they're really nice, too! Take your own pace 😇🤗
I've had anxiety problems just meeting up with people in general, let alone cuddling a stranger for the first time. Can't offer much extra advice, just similar to the above...take your time and know any worries you have will pass very quick once you finally reach that point.

It takes time to step outside of your comfort zone. Cuddling with another person and being so candid with your own vulnerability and that of another is a massive step, so take as long as you need to process it!

Nearly every job has unpleasant aspects, and cuddling is no exception. But remember that there are many professional cuddlers who adore the job. Cuddling is a bit like crossing the road: if you Stop Look Listen you'll be fine; but if you don't, you risk being run over.
Before starting as a professional you MUST register with the site as a professional cuddler. And before that, read the sticky topics at the top of the professional cuddling board. They have all the information you need to get started, including help on how to cuddle safely.

Hi I am new to CC to so I understand your trepidation especially due to the world we live in. It is important to pre-vet and have discernment when speaking to men because not all men on this website just want to cuddle. I host and facilitate cuddle puddles in my home which makes me and my cuddlers feel safe since we are doing it in a group setting and create a very safe container for people to be seen, heard, and felt while honoring consent and boundaries. It's been very healing to know I can have trust and faith in others and bring forth community through my cuddle puddles. See if there is a local cuddle puddle where you live. That could be a start.
