Catfishing is horrible, but you should have a firm boundary. After a certain amount of messages you should have name, photo, and scheduled a session, once that’s in place ask for a FT/Zoom etc. Idk.. it’s one thing meeting a stranger, Lord forbid it’s a totally different person. 🤣

It is just I dont wanna give my number to somebody who can not send money first, if it is virtual. Reality is different. So what should I do. @LiliSlovakia yes, they are afraid you are a scammer. It does happen that criminals set up accounts, collect money from clients and then disappear. It's also the case that occasionally established members undergo some kind of crisis and steal money from clients. So the men are right to be careful.
This can make things difficult for professionals who are new, like you. One possible solution is to ask for only a very small deposit in advance, say $10 or even $5. This establishes the principle of paying a deposit, without the client risking too much money. Once you have more Karma, and have been here longer, then you may wish to consider raising the amount a little.
@LiliSlovakia for virtual meets you could use something like Google Meet or Zoom. This way you do not need to send a phone number. At the same time the clients can pay after they see you on the screen.
Video calls are always the way to go. I offer them all the time if that’s a concern but never had an issue. I can imagine it is frustrating!
Also cat fish almost always use pictures of good looking people who are interested in average or below average looking people.

I truly hate video/phone calls… I don’t have time to call list if the time or my kids are sitting next to me and texting is just easier…

Many Pro's require video consults for their own safety; men should be afforded the same opportunities as women, to confirm who they're agreeing to meet.
I don't make a habit of hiring Pro's, but if I did, I'd probably want a call to see what she really looks like, as so many here use heavy filters that make them look like different people, different races, different age brackets... I don't care about age or race, but I do care about honesty.
(Actually, being realistic, I likely wouldn't hire a Pro that used a heavy filter in the first place, so I guess it wouldn't matter.)

I just got a response from a pro asking me for more details but they paused their account and I can't message her back because of that so I'm unable to give her more details. Seems weird to me. Hoping she sees this and unpauses so I can respond.
@WolfeHugs I believe "paused" means there's a payment issue with her CC account. Once that gets straightened out, the account is active again.

@herby357 I work as a pro. I'm not big on FaceTime and all that because Im insecure ASF but I will if I have to. Lol you should know they suggest we receive deposits in our training materials. If we get cancelled on too close to the apt we have to eat the site fee that is why. It's nothing nefarious. 😉

@ladybug7 you don't have to eat the site fee if the client doesn't turn up. Message the site admin and they'll cancel the fee if the session didn't happen.

There’s one professional based in New York, sometimes New Jersey with lots of Karma who is a catfish using a German Instagram influencers pictures that I reported but hasn’t been removed. It’s because the people she sees are probably embarrassed to say it’s not or they are happy with the cuddles so they don’t report. I even messaged to them saying how happy I was they moved from Germany just to cuddle in America and then they blocked me lol
